I wanted perfect fit along cutting edge. These have that to perfection. Goes through all normal cutting jobs superbly. I use side cutters frequently, on many materials (but not super-hard metals because these invariably damage the cutters to some extent). I most often use the cutters for removal of electronic components from PCB's and old chassis so mainly copper/aluminium alloys/ mild steel/ plastics etc. These jobs can become a pain if the cutter blades do not mate exactly and repeated attempts are needed. These are well made cutters and suggest a long working life. The cutters I would normally buy are three times the price of these and I am glad I was tempted to give them a try. ( PS For super-hard metals I start with old, beaten-up cutters and then use diamond-based edges.)
