Nice size for smaller shopping trips. Excellent quality.
If you're hesitating bc these bags seem kind of pricey and you're worried about the quality, I can assure they're worth it. If you're worried bc there's a "frequently returned item" warning... well, I really don't know what that's about. I've been completely satisfied with my purchase. I'm actually considering buying more to use for closet and bathroom storage. (The bags are so durable and neat looking.) I wish I had just taken the chance on buying these bags before I wasted my money on a bunch of low quality ones first. You can expect to get your money's worth out of these. If you generally take care of them, they will last you at least a few years. These bags are very strong & durable. They're way better than the reusable bags you often find near the check out line in stores. The straps, main material, & stitching are all of excellent quality. Strap length is comfortable for carrying by hand or slinging over the arms... perfect for when I feel stupid-lazy & try to lug all my bags into the house at once. I can't say I've abused these bags much, but I have been a bit rough on them at times. I've slid them across my hard flooring when they were filled with stuff. I frequently stack other items on top of them when they're open & filled. (They're a lot sturdier & more structured than my other shopping bags, so I tend to load them into my cart and car first. They're pretty stable and don't need to be handled as delicately as other bags or items. So I usually rely on them to hold the bottom of any stacked shopping hauls.) I've probably loaded a couple bags with close to 30 lbs of stuff a few times. I've used them all lot, and not just for shopping. They still look & function nicely. I bought two 4-packs of the gray color. I inspected all bags upon arrival. All 8 arrived in excellent condition. No defects. No minor imperfections. No concerns. The gray bags are plain & super low-profile, which I like. (I'm tired of carrying around overly colorful or decorated reusable shopping bags. Especially ones that have huge store brand logos on them.) The bags don't get dirty easily. I've had some food items leak or spill in/on them. So far, no permanent stains. I've used them to where they were covered in dirt, dust, & small particles. The bags are super easy to shake out, dust off, vacuum out if needed, & wipe down with a damp rag or paper towel. They repel liquids very well. I've lugged around quite a bit of groceries that started condensating before I could put them away. And I've relied on the bags to protect items I've needed to carry thru rain. Whenever I see a lot of moisture in/on the bag, I quickly wipe it up. I'm not usually thorough about it, though. If it's just a tiny bit of moisture, I sometimes just leave the bag on my table to air dry for a bit. No noticable problems after doing this many times now. I think the bags might be coated with something that makes them so water-repellent and stain resistant. They seem kind of glossy up close. (They don't look shiny from a short distance, though.) The bags seem pretty scratch resistant. As I mentioned, I haven't been too gentle on them. I've only managed to get a few scratches on the bottom of one bag, but that's bc I tried to slide it across dirty concrete flooring while it had some tools inside. I also dragged or pushed it around a lot. (Obviously, these bags were not intended to be used as tool bags. But they're sturdy enough that I trust them to hold a variety of stuff.) Upon the first 2-3 uses, these bags were a bit difficult to keep open, which made packing items into them kind of a hassle. They kept collapsing back into their folding position. But after breaking them in a bit, this is no longer an issue. (You may want to open & close them a few times before using for the first time.) After breaking them in, they're still well structured & remain opened in a boxy position, which makes packing & retrieving groceries a breeze. The filled bags also pack neatly in the cargo space of my vehicle & aren't easily tipped over during very bumpy car rides. They still fold up easily & neatly long after the break in period. I really like the size of these bags. Not too big, but not too small. I bought the larger version of these bags from the same brand. I wasn't sure which size I'd prefer, so I order two sets of both at the same time. I ended up keeping both sizes. The larger bags have a small, flat outside pocket, which I've only found useful in very limited situations. The larger bags are great for major grocery shopping trips (like when you're buying enough items to last 3+ wks) or if you have a large household to shop for almost every time. But a few of these smaller sized bags are perfect for basic grocery shopping trips. One bag is enough to carry several items from the store. You could fill a bag with two half gallon bottles of milk & a 3-liter soda bottle, and still have room to add some smaller, slender, or loosely packaged items (like boxes of spaghetti, bags of shredded cheese, etc.). These smaller sized bags are also a more convenient size to carry around when doing light shopping for other things like clothes, general household items, or a bunch of small items. (The larger bags seem excessively large for most "light" shopping trips, IMO.) These bags don't look all sloppy when you throw them in your shopping cart before you start making your way thru the store. I can actually carry items in the bags while shopping in some stores instead of using a basket. It doesn't look like I'm trying to steal bc it's obviously a shopping bag (it would be hard to mistake it for a personal bag like a purse); and I can carry it so that the top is opened wide, making any items I put inside visible to store employees & cameras. The bags will sit opened in carts, too, making it easy to keep things organized for check out. The bags fold up neatly & pretty flat. They have a teeny bit of depth to them since they're made of a thicker material than most reusable shopping bags. But they still fold into a conveniently compact size. Repeated folding & opening has not caused any weak spots along the creases so far. They're easy to store in my car, kitchen, or next to my front door without taking up much space. I use one of these smaller tote bags to store all of the other folded tote bags (both this size & the larger ones) that aren't in use. I also store some other flimsy, low quality back up shopping bags in there, too. It doesn't look sloppy hanging from a wall hook or when sitting on a shelf since the bag is so plain and well structured. In fact, I've been using some to hold a bunch of small items on an open shelf. They make the shelf look so much less cluttered, and they're not an eye sore. I'd highly recommend purchasing a set of these bags. I'd also recommend getting a set of the larger bags. A total of 8 bags would be enough to handle a typical large grocery trip. And having 2 sizes to use is convenient. (I always have 1 of these smaller bags available hold my eggs, bread, and other fragile items. The items don't shift around as much. Plus, this size bag fits more easily in the front seat of my vehicle and hangs better from the head rest hooks.)

Best bags yet
I love these bags . They are heavy duty and work great. I ordered more for myself and my daughter ordered some for herself.

They stand at attention!
I particularly like that the bags stand up when you're putting groceries in them and yet they still fold up nicely when you're done using them. Some of my other bags had a tendency to collase when I was trying to put groceries in them and these don't do that. The size is also ideal in that it's not too big and it's not too small. This makes it easier to fill up the bag and carry it without making them too heavy. The straps are the right length and in general the bag is very sturdy.

Good quality
I love the sustainability of these bags and they seem like good quality as I have had them for over a year now and holding up well. I just wish they were more a canvas fabric instead of the plasticy feel that they have. This does make it easy to wipe them down if needed. Overall happy with my purchase

Favorite grocery bags!
I love these bags. We are a no plastic city and they are great for grocery shopping. Fit inside my door pocket (which is large) so they are easily accessible. Nice quality.
