Horizontal pivot is nice for tight hood clearances. Works great. Plastic flexes a little is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

I guess I should have bought the brass ones. All of the reviews are about that type and apparently of better quality.I thought??? zinc was better for battery disconnects.Anyway the quality is inline with the cost, no great deal here. I bought 2 of them and it seems that, by the reviews, I am the first one to pay for them. Quality is the same for both. I'll see how they work and hold up they are rated at 250 amps. The male terminal is hollow and the female terminal tightening bolt must be held stationary so you can tighten the nut to secure it to the battery terminal.

Works, keeps battery from going dead. Has low drain somewhere. If run reg no problem,sets very long battery gets low.

This product worked really nicely. It is solid and seems well constructed. The terminal that the battery cable mounts to could be a little bigger in my application. I had to really tighten it down to the point it distorted the clamp a little before it got tight. But, it works just fine.

Description indicated the knife blade was reversible from the horizontal position to the vertical position. Not so. The bolts that secure the posts holding the knife blade in the horizontal position are not compatible with holes used to secure the posts in the vertical position. The bolts are to small.
