I read the reviews and was on the fence about this product. I needed a loud easy to navigate phone with large numbers of my 81 year old mother in law. She had an Alcatel flip phone, but it wasn't loud enough anymore and she started having a hard time opening it. When I put the SIM card in the Artfone, it worked right away, but then stopped, saying it's not compatible with the AT&T network. I figured the reviews were correct, but decided to see if AT&T could fix. I checked online and it says the IMEI does not work on the AT&T network. I was on the phone with AT&T for about 17 minutes and now the phone works flawlessly. Get the phone, but know you have to call AT&T.

This phone does not work. The charging base doesn't work. After the phone is fully charged directly from the cable, there are no settings to set up. I read and reread the instructions. I'm in my mid-forties, so I shouldn't have any trouble with this older style phone. I'm so disappointed. :(

This is a great phone for Seniors or anyone who does not want all the bells and whistles of today's smart phones. My dad went through flip phones faster than I could replace them. This phone has been a game changer.

It does have large buttons and is fairly easy to use for my early onset dementia husband. The quick call feature makes it easy for him to call family members.

Bought the phone to connect with AT&T, as it claimed to be compatible, but AT&T informed me that it was not compatible with their network. They somehow connected it anyway, and it worked in the area of AT&T store in New Hampshire, but not in nearby Massachusetts. Cancelled the line with AT&T and connected successfully with T-Mobile and it works well. It might work with AT&T elsewhere, not it does not work here. Nice and simple phone for the 90 YO user.

Bought for my 80 plus year old mother and she is enjoying it. I asked her what she loves about the phone and her answer is that the numbers and letters are huge she has no problem reading or using it 😊 ☺ 😄 🙂

Works perfectly with the AT&T sim card, and very clear sound.

This was the first phone my 90-year-old father was able to use without much difficulty. It was short-lived though. 2 weeks after he started using it it wouldn't allow him to make or receive calls on it. When I called my cell carrier I was informed there wasn't anything they could do. The phone was blacklisted, making it useless, no matter what was tried. I thought we found the magic phone, but it turns out it was only an illusion. If you live in the United States this phone will not work! Look at reviews closely, those good reviews are from other countries.

Bought this for my elderly mother who is hard of hearing & has slightly arthritic hands. Simple to setup but wish it had come with a proper plug, luckily I havd ordered a plug for my ipad so was able to use that. The torch button is in a bit of an awkward position as she keeps switching it on when holding phone. The lock on/off button could be bigger or more visible , especially for those with arthritic hands. Sound quality very good, especially in hands free mode. But louder ring tone would be useful. Speed dial facility really useful and easy to use. Docking station makes charging easier. Overall an excellent phone for elderly & hard of hearing person. Was delivered ahead of time which was a bonus.

Purchased as a replacement for my 91 year old client. The charge dock works perfectly and VERY easy to make sure the phone charges when dropped in. Buttons large, screen okay, volume good, great price point, and VERY simple. I recommend this if all you want is to make and receive phone calls. Texting as mentioned elsewhere is with old school alpha/ numeric keys, so not ideal if you need to do a lot of messaging. This phone fitted out requirements perfectly and I recommend it.

Calls going through are hit and miss. 90% of the time it goes direct to voicemail and doesn’t even ring. The base use is simple but my Nan who I bought it for can’t deal with all the functions when it’s getting messages for every missed call etc. Not impressed.
