I have purchased several Vevor inverters, and they are well built with a modern design and the price is reasonable. The inverter fits nicely in my solar project build. Vevor is a good brand and is consistently, a high quality inverter that's easy to use. No issues to report. I purchased this 2000 watt pure sine wave inverter with a 4000 peak power, for my solar generator build. It is a compact size inverter, and fits well within my system containing 2 fans for keeping the inverter cool. It has 2 sockets, 2 USB port and a USB c port, with a display that provides battery info and charging status. It comes with a 2 button remote control to shut the inverter on or off.. Positives: it is a pure sign wave inverter that peaks at 4000 watts. It appears to be well made and it is compact. It has two sockets and 2 USB ports and a USB-C port. Functions well and is pretty quiet. It is reasonably priced for a pure sign inverter. Negatives: No digital screen adapter to view battery status.

This inverter is working great as a home back up. I have it couple into my solar setup with a couple lithium ion batteries and solar panels and it’s worked great in a few recent power outages.

Just opened the box, hooked up the included cables to a fully charged battery and ran my hot water pot 1100w for a full cycle, then my 1200watt microwave for 1 minute. It worked well, didn’t get hot or have any issues. The remote agrees with the on-device screen within .2 volts which is close enough for me. About the remote, it is basic and uses a standard old school modular phone jack type cable. If you have the main device switch in the off position, the remote will fully power down and power up the unit. If you have the device hardware switch turned on, the remote will only put the device into some kind of sleep mode with the power button, but it will still be on and consuming energy from your battery. There might be some confusion on this based on other reviews I’ve seen. The unit does come with some extra blade type fuses but it is not obvious where these might go without opening the device which I won’t do until I have to, or there is an out of warranty problem. You can see from the pictures that when under load the remote shows my fully charged battery as just above 1/2 full and once the load is removed the indicator returns to full. If there are problems I’ll return and update my info here.

When using solar panels the unit powers on and off when your battery is at full charge. Have to disconnect the solar panels to stop this cycle. Outside of this, the unit works great.

I have tried several inverters to power my 13.5k BTU A/C and none did the job perfectly. Some failed to start the A/C and some started it but not smoothly (clunking noises from the A/C or low voltage alarms!) This inverter perfectly starts it every time. I've had hundreds of starts on the A/C so far and not a single clunk or other noise. I also stress-tested this inverter (accidentally) by running it in extreme heat in an enclosed area. While I wouldn't recommend this, the inverter held up perfectly and operated with no issues. Meanwhile, my other electronics in that area, including a DC-DC charger and MPPT charger, shut down sporadically due to derating. The remote, as others have mentioned, uses hard to find batteries (annoying) but otherwise works well, even through several wood walls. I'll update this review if I run into issues down the road, but for now, this inverter works perfectly.

Internal capacitor or something burnt up causing a bunch of smoke. Fire didn't spread from unit.

Couldn't run a normal sized kitchen fridge. Powered off after 2 minutes of working a lamp when our power went out. The screen would go dark and the blue power on light remained on, with no AC output. Horrible quality, would not recommend anyone waste their money. I ended up getting a generator anyways. Additionally, It's been 3 weeks and my return has still not been processed.

Excelente calidad y trae control remoto

Went to Lithium batteries in the motorhome and needed the inverter for tv, satellite, and plugs inside. The most power I have put through it so far is 1700 watts and it handled it quietly with no issues. The only thing I'm not happy about is the brightness of the remote control. It throws a lot of light inside and had to put tape over it until I get a remote that just has on/off switch and light. I already have a battery monitoring system, so nothing else is required.
