Brilliant piece of kit

We used to empty water from Hot tub. It worked well and took about 3 to 4 hours . Perhaps would work quicker with a wider hose pipe and the water did have to travel 30m plus to the drain . We did need to purchase another connector which cost another £ 9.99 as UK hosepies are smaller in width. I think it would be better to include all connectors sizes . It stops the pumping of water out at aprox 3 to 4 inches left in the bottom . Thats still a lot of water and we had to take out by hand ! However much better than last year when it was all by hand and then taken to the drain otherside of house. You cant tip all that water on the garden or lawn due to the chlorine used in the water . We will use the wider hose pipe in the future.

First use today. It’s taken me a couple of weeks to sort out getting the correct hose to fit as the connector isn’t a standard UK fit. Read lots of reviews about the flat hose but there were problems with kinging and poor water flow. I then found a YouTube video on clear, rigid, corrugated plastic hoses and jubilee clips. Managed to get the correct width and length for what I needed. The pump worked beautifully and the hose did the job with no kinking. I used it for my hot tub. It will only go down to an inch of water, so you have to remove the remaining water by hand. I started off with a bucket, went to a plastic jug, then tipped the tub onto its side to mop up the remainder. Got the job done.

This pump takes 515 gallons out of the hot tub in about 1 hour using a 3/4" hose without removing any hot tub side panels. This pump is exactly what I was looking for. Great price for such a useful tool. And it leaves such a small amount of water that I can finish with a wet vac. I recommend this product.

I have never reviewed an item out of hundreds of purchases on Amazon but I had to for this pump! It exceeds my expectations. I bought this to drain my cow’s water tub and it works better than expected. You can hook it up to a garden hose and pump the water as far as you want. The pump removed a shocking amount of water in a good amount of time. I hope this thing keeps working because it is fantastic.

Love this! A lifesaver here in SW FL during rainy season and my pool is almost overflowing so skimmer isn't working. Does exactly as described. No fuss...plug in, attach hose and let it do it's work. You can't go wrong.
