Not a bad M.2!
Not a bad product. Has worked great since installing it. Super easy installation. Not bad as far as write speed. The quality so far is great! The heat level I can't tell to be honest. My laptop generally gets hot as it is, so I cannot tell if it is causing any added heat or not. The speed is average. Great for the price. I would definitely purchase this again as long as the current one continues to perform.

Great, fast, no issues.
Works well- no flaws plus the LED status light was helpful. Works well in laptops, good upgrade from DRAMLESS. Though I wouldn't advise this for a Windows C:\ drive as it'll get a little cumbersome. For Linux, absolutely! I use it with XFS. Exceptional speed, compatible with laptops, I'd say its value is over the price & it doesn't get hot at all. I've used it for a few months now and it's quite durable-no sign of degradation.

Great unit.
Sped up the computer massively. Worked just like bigger name brand ones do.

solid value drive
I recently picked up a KingSpec NVMe SSD for a new PC build, primarily looking for a cost-effective way to get into the NVMe game without breaking the bank. After getting it installed and running for a few weeks, I'm pleasantly surprised by its performance and value. Installation & Initial Thoughts (5/5): Installation was straightforward, as expected with any M.2 NVMe drive. It snapped right into my motherboard's slot, and Windows recognized it instantly. The drive itself feels well-built, though it's fairly barebones (no fancy heatsink included, which is typical for this price point). Performance (4/5): For everyday use, this drive is blazing fast. Boot times are almost instantaneous, applications launch in a blink, and file transfers (especially for large files) are significantly quicker than any SATA SSD I've used. While it might not hit the absolute bleeding-edge speeds of premium NVMe drives from top-tier brands, for its price, it offers exceptional performance. I ran some basic benchmarks, and it consistently delivered read/write speeds that are more than adequate for gaming, content creation, and general productivity. For the average user, the difference between this and a much more expensive drive would be imperceptible in real-world scenarios. Value for Money (5/5): This is where the KingSpec NVMe truly shines. You get impressive NVMe speeds without the premium price tag. If you're building on a budget or just want to upgrade an older system to NVMe without overspending, this drive offers fantastic bang for your buck. Overall Impression: The KingSpec NVMe SSD is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a high-speed storage solution that won't empty their wallet. It offers a significant performance upgrade over traditional SATA SSDs and HDDs, making your system feel incredibly snappy. While it might not win any benchmark records against top-tier competitors, its real-world performance for the price is tough to beat. Pros: Excellent value for NVMe performance. Significantly faster than SATA SSDs. Easy installation. Reliable for everyday use, gaming, and general productivity. Cons: Performance may not match premium NVMe drives (but neither does the price). No included heatsink (consider adding one for sustained heavy loads). If you're looking for an affordable entry into the world of NVMe, the KingSpec is a solid, reliable performer.

Great for Orange Pi 3B v2
Used it to replace the SD card on an organe pi. Worked without issues out of the box. So far, have not had issues with power spikes nor overheating although I do have a passive copper plate attached to it.

Great performing and priced m.2 drive
Fast shipping, the drive was exactly as described and packaged well. I would buy from seller again. Price was great! The drive performed exactly to specs, fast and reliable. It gets a fair amount of use and remains cool without a cooler.

I ordered this Kingspec NVMe Gen 3x4 SSD (up to 2400MB/s read), and overall I’m pleased with how well it performs. I wasn’t able to test it internally on my laptop since it only has one NVMe slot, but I did install it in a USB enclosure capable of 10Gbps speeds. Using CrystalDiskMark, the drive reached the maximum the controller could handle: Read: 1081.48 MB/s Write: 1095.51 MB/s That’s pretty impressive considering the enclosure bottleneck. I also installed it in my Raspberry Pi 5, and the system now boots up in about 14–15 seconds—a huge upgrade from using a microSD card. Definitely a noticeable improvement in speed and responsiveness. To verify authenticity and reliability, I ran a full H2testW scan, which confirmed that the flash memory is 100% real and the drive passed without data loss. Just a note: this test is very intensive and shouldn’t be run more than once or twice, as it uses up write cycles and significantly heats the drive. But it’s invaluable for catching bad drives early, and I always run it on new SSDs. During the full write test, I did notice a speed drop to about 175MB/s, which is normal as SSDs tend to slow down when they heat up or run low on available cache or space. That said, I’ve seen worse performance drops, and this one held up decently. Overall, I’m happy with this SSD, especially for the great deal I got during Amazon Prime Day. It performs well, passed all my tests, and I’m hoping it holds up over time.
