American Girl Truly Me 18-inch Doll Floral Fashion Outfit with Ruffled Bodice, Ribbon, Socks, and Boots, for Ages 6+

The dress is a pale pink with a shiny gold print. It flares out from the waist. When the boots are added, the doll just needs a sheiko hat and a baton, and she’ll be ready to march in a parade. ;) However, there’s no way this is worth $45.00, which is the American Girl company’s price for it. Fortunately, Amazon has frequent sales, so it’s often more reasonable here.

Completely adorable. High-quality that we have come to expect from American girl. And actually looks better in person than in the pictures.

I have been purchasing American Girl products since the Pleasant Company days. Of course the quality has gradually come down within the two decades Mattel has owned the company. I still generally felt like the prices were fair, even if the quality was deteriorating. This outfit compared to the price is bonkers though. I really only bought it because I had an Amazon credit. This outfit just isn’t worth the price point and it’s absurd the accessories are sold separately because they’re not even worth the $25. I feel like this outfit is an example of shrinkflation. I would feel more comfortable paying this price if the product was actually made in America and going to employees, but it’s made in China. Do better American Girl.

Minus a star because why these boots? Strange choice in my opinion. It's also a slightly higher price point than I'd normally consider. The dress is very good quality. I ordered an extra "sweet side" outfit and paired those sandals in lieu of the cheapy boots. Very cute overall.

Poor packaging and isn’t delivered in a condition that can be gifted. Not a good value for the cost.
