Very sturdy with comfortable handle. I did have an issue with the handle separating so I contacted sumo. I am extremely pleased with this companies immediate response and replacement of the product. Sometimes products are faulty, it happens but sumo went out of their way to make it right that's the kind of company I want to buy from. I will buy more sumo products and highly recommend this company.

This cutter is very nicely designed, comfortable to use and looks good- comes in choice of colors as well. I've only used it a few times so far but it mixes well, is sturdy and should hold up a long time. Comes in a very attractive box as well if you are gifting or use as a promo item.

These have come a long way since I originally purchased one. I carefully reviewed the different ones, and decided to purchase this one (with a red handle). It is so sturdy with a nice grip. I am sure it will do the job nicely!

I really like how this pastry cutter is so sturdy. My last one was so flimsy. This truly gets the butter into the dough without me killing my hand in the process. A little toothbrush to clean makes that part easy too!

The blender has a nice handle that is easy to hold. It is bigger than my last one and doesn't take as long to blend. I bake all the time and I really appreciate the wide blades. Thank you!

I have another product from Sumo, and it is magnificent. So I decided this would be the brand I'd stick to for the pastry cutter I wanted since I could trust the sturdiness, the quality of the metal, and the overall feel. Unfortunately, my pastry cutter broke after only a few uses, but when I reached out to the seller Yuca, they quickly replied that there had been a production hiccup affecting a small number of these dough cutters and replaced my product instantly, and even offering further rectification than that which was requested. Love the sense of standing behind their product. Also, side note, if you are interested in the best unheralded ice cream scoop on Amazon, go look for the Sumo ice cream scoop. It by far exceeds others, and is truly dishwasher safe which is not actually true when you go digging into the reviews/product details of most well-known (and sometimes fancier-looking) scoops out there. Love this brand.

The SUMO is a pleasure to use. I've used pastry blenders that look similar but are made from thinner material or blenders made with with wire blades; those blades flex, twist and get bent out of shape. The SUMO cuts through the cold butter without deforming. I had given up on finding a decent pastry blender and resorted to using a food processor to make pie crust or biscuits. I would cut the butter in the processor and then dump the mixture into a bowl to add the liquid. I could never get the food processor to adequately blend the wet and the dry without overworking the dough and making the butter pieces to small. Using the SUMO, I can make my dough in one bowl and not have to dirty the food processor to cut-in the butter. It's a solid, sturdy tool and I think it will outlast me.

Have you ever felt that there was probably only one way to make a pastry dough blender and you'd never find one that would quite do the trick so you had to go to the food processor? They're not just for pastry, but even for pastry the smaller ones get clogged too easily. This is the gorilla of pastry blenders and it is wonderful. Just chopped up some guacamole with no effort. Very happy.
