I go through shea butter pretty regularly since I make my own skin care products, and this one is excellent. I've ordered from other brands before, but I like the packaging with this one. It's truly unrefined - you can tell by the natural ivory color and that earthy, nutty smell that real shea butter has. The texture is perfect - soft enough to work with but still holds its quality. It melts easily and blends well into whatever I'm making. My skin absorbs it beautifully without feeling greasy. The 32oz size is great value and lasts a good while, even with regular use. I appreciate that it's organic and raw - no processing means you're getting all the good stuff that makes shea butter actually work.

Excellent raw cacao butter bars! They are very fresh and have a clean, natural aroma. I use them for dry lips and they work amazingly well. Great quality and I will definitely buy them again.

I can confirm that it’s authentic. I’m African. This product is packaged very well. It’s very clean. The smell is natural. The texture is natural. This is a great product and definitely worth the money. It is very effective for dry skin. It clears up in the ashiness and makes your skin glow.

This is the one to buy for homemade skincare products. I previously bought a different one ("currently unavailable" as of October 2025) that did okay, another (still available) that was rancid on delivery, and I bought this to replace that one. Pretty much odorless, not even the slightly nutty scent you would normally expect. The only mild caveat is that it set pretty quickly at room temperature in the saucepan in which I melted it with some grapeseed oil. Once I reheated it and then poured the mixture into molds, they set again, all was well and the resulting lotion bars have been my best so far.

Got this specifically to make a gentle but hydrating lotion using this w an additional oil and whipping to a light mix. Melted easily, mixed well, and is unscented. Created a moisturizing and healing lotion for rough hands and sore areas under noses due to using so many tissues. Highly recommend and I have already bought another bar to keep on hand.

I used this to make a custom beard butter. Great for general skin and beard care. Not too greasy and my beard feels softer after. Smells and tastes great!
