Tongue drum music book - 50 relaxing, yoga and meditation songs - reading music notes not required: For diatonic tongue drums in D major with 8 / 11 / ... - playing by numbers with the tongue drum

I bought two of these books, the meditation songs and the 60, 70, 80s ect. I am so happy. They have great songs. These books have notes and numbers so I will learn the notes too. I wish they still sold the drums on Amazon, I would have bought it to go with the books. Also it is the size of a real music book not like the others where you have to follow half on one line and the other half on the next line. These books are more like a standard music books. They also work with 8-16 note drums. This meditation one has beautiful melody's you don't even have to know the song. You can just play to the feel and know that it will sound good. It makes me so happy. I can't wait to play again tomorrow. My new octave drum will sound delicious with this meditation book. If they let me edit this review, and when I learn a song, I will do a video and show you how awesome this book makes you look like a professional.

Our son loved it for calming effects to help him reduce stress as a college student. Good pick mom!

While the songs in the book are nice to have, I wouldn’t call them yoga or meditation songs. I don’t regret owning the book but I was truly looking for music to calm the soul. Some of the songs here accomplish that but most do not. Still, as I said, having access to these songs is not a bad thing, especially when the player’s skill level improves.

Beautifully constructed aesthetically wonderful to look at tone quality is 85 to 90%. I have to admit some Keys do not resonate the way they should. I have two keys that fall in that category. I’m keeping it because the overall tone is superb and I find if I lightly touched the faulty keys They have a fairly nice sound but very faint for the price I paid approximately $57. I feel that this is a very good instrument to have once I become proficient on this I might consider upgrading to a better instrument but for now I’m quite pleased to keep the one I have.

Very easy book to follow along with my Panda Drum

This book is wonderful! The only thing I would say is that I wish they would put more definitions the symbols above the numbers! I don't know music nots.. So music not symbols are another world. More definitions please! Besides that this book is great!

The drum sounded terrible. A couple of the notes sounded like a thud, no nice sounding music. I don't recommend buying it. I sent it back

This is a gift for my husband for Christmas. I think he'll like the Hopewell drum and I wanted a companion song book with some different songs. This book seems to have it all. I hope he likes it! Seems to be a unique gift for a Unique Guy!

"Reading music notes not necessary", yet there is no explanation to why notes such as labeled as 5 in different positions on the stave or why there is a curve joining notes together. Disappointing. Only gave 2 stars because there's a lot of songs but I feel not fit for purpose because of no explanation. I would have included a photograph but Amazon keeps restarting the review from scratch.

You can play all these on an 8 note drum, if that's all you have then great, but otherwise its a complete waste of time

Only works for one brand of this instrument, not transpefable to other tongue drum types.
