This is a super cute garden ornament that does actually light up when placed in a sunny environment. It's unobtrusive as it isn’t that big in size, the light emitted isn't particularly bright, but as a gift idea, say for grandparents, it's a lovely gift idea for them to place in their garden.

Very cute outdoor solar statue. Lasted 3 years and I just ordered another one. Lights are not that bright but it does look good at night.

I added this to my garden because I like solar lights at night. This little garden gnome was smaller than I expected at around 9" tall, but I still found a nice home for him next to the bird bath. Leaving it in the sun all day, provided enough light to see it at night. It's definitely a cute little addition to the garden.

Elerot the little green gnome is so cute! Small solar panel on back powers the basket of flowers and glass globe in his lap. The colors are bright and vibrant out of box, reason for the 4 stars is that the fuzzy green finish doesn't weather well and starts to color fade almost immediately when placed outdoors where he's happiest. Otherwise, light works well, come on at dusk and stays lit well into night. Recommend.
