Track goes together easily and the cars are quick! Fun to race for the kids and the adults in the household. We have used both batteries and power cord, but ended up switching just to the power cord. The cars are easy to get back on the track and the kit comes with replacement wires for the cars (have not yet had to change them, we have been able to reshape the current wires very easily). We did have an issue with the controllers (wire cracked, pin came off), but I emailed the customer support team email listed in the build instructions for replacement suggestions and they were quick to respond and rectified the problem immediately. This toy has gotten quite a bit of use since it has been built and excited to keep playing it together!

We got this for our 4 year old for Christmas. He absolutely loves it. Of all the presents he got this year, he’s spent the most time with this one. Sometimes the cars fall off the track, but that’s normal. He learned quickly how to put them back on easily enough. Setup was simple. Although two of the guardrails broke, so they’re kinda halfway attached. I’d recommend bending the guardrails into a curve before attaching to reduce the stress on the bits that clip onto the track. We’ve been able to get 4 cars running on the track simultaneously with good results. Any more than that and the electric doesn’t provide enough juice to power them all. 9.5/10 overall

This was a great find to relive my youth with my grandson. Track went together fairly well and though it sometimes separates, pieces are easy to put back together. Until I find a true HO set, this will do just fine.

Easy to assemble. Cars hold to track well. Sturdy. Fast. Grandkids wouldn't stop racing. One car stopped working after the first day. I emailed the company, and they sent a new set of cars that week. Did not try the battery option due to prior reviews. AC worked great.

I had to put one star to leave a review but I’m giving this product Zero stars. I bought this for my two yr old who is obsessed with cars and he got to use it twice and it stopped working. The piece that plugs into the wall never worked so we used the battery option. And again it worked TWICE and now it won’t work at all. This was a Christmas gift so I’m very disappointed I spent the money on it, and can’t even return it.

Great old school toys. Reminds me of my younger days. Good build. I just wish they would tell you where to order more cars or parts for the cars.

This Slot Car Race Track has been a huge hit in our house! My 7-year-old received it for Christmas and has been having a blast playing with it.
