‘Magnificent lunchbox’. Sounds a bit saucy. Ha ha! But it sums up my review. Looks amazing, and so sturdy. I imagine Fred Flintstone would have had a lunchbox like this. Sturdy, strong, plenty of storage space. The lid space for the flask is ingenious. Secures tightly shut and opens by clasp very easily. Stanley I think stands for high quality when it comes to tools, but they have my highest quality compliment when it comes to this lunchbox. I just could never have imagined I’d ever be excited about a lunchbox, but as a driving instructor this sturdy, we’ll made, easy on the eye lunchbox does it for me. Very highly recommended!

Classic style

I have always loved the look of these boxes. They very expensive, however having owned mine for six months it has so far lasted well. It’s able to carry enough food to keep me fuelled for a 12 hour shift.

it's a solid box, but if like me you have to carry it to work on public transport it can be heavy, things I would improve are the carry handle, it should be rounded with grips not flat. I've always wanted a good sturdy box that will last forever and this will I promise. we'll worth the £50.

Liked the styling of this Stanley retro lunch box, manufactured from stainless steel, with the classic enamelled green paint finish, to compliment their range of flasks and mugs. Good size. Given weight issues for the handle, I don’t think I would carry a full vacuum flask in the lid area and would probably place a drinks bottle. Overall, very stylish and a little indulgent and extravagant, given the £48 price tag, however it’s good to have a bit of Americana nostalgia.

Good solid lunch box, I've been wanting one for some time. Nice construction, and the hinges/ latches look and feel fairly robust. I have two gripes with this. First is the price! For that amount of sterling, the matching flask would have been good. The second is the handle, the cheap plastic handle feels flimsy in comparison to the rest of the metal construction, But I admit this is a minor one for me. Regardless, decent lunch box with very good capacity.

I bought this for my packed lunches, having built up a mass of empty carrier bags under my desk. Combined with the 0.75L flask, it acts as a life support system like no other. I recommend it absolutely. Might be a little cheaper; however, quality is always worth paying for.

I love this lunch pail. it's thick gauge metal and very sturdy. It's the last lunch pail I'll ever own for sure. The classic style is why I ordered it. Then when I had it in my hands I felt the sturdiness and it was even better than I expected.
