Had a week and tried to use once. Nice idea …if it worked. Water Pump never worked, so basically an expensive fan. Also should know that Honeywell isn’t stocking these units any longer, and they said warranty parts will be hard to come by. So, will be returning to Amazon as defective.

UPDATED. Less than a year out of the box and with only a few hours a week operation for about 4 months I now have a very expensive doorstop. GFI switch on the plug wouldn’t reset so I replaced it. Tried again and the gfi switch still trips immediately. Unit won’t power on at all. Tried to get customer service. Haha. Received an email back that there is nothing they can do. Hunk of garbage. Don’t waste your money. I originally rated 4 stars but abysmal reliability and customer service make it a .5. This is a great portable cooler. It definitely moves air and will cool down a hot garage about 15 degrees. It's big but easy to move around. If you're going to run it for long periods of time on high its helpful to hook it up to a water supply directly. It burns through its water reservoir in less than two hour in my experience. You do have to be able to place it next to an open window or door if you're using it indoor and it helps to have an open door/window downstream to vent to. If you try to run it in a garage without a door or window open it will turn your garage into a muggy swamp. It is very easy to set up and run. The only drawback is that it is LOUD when its on high. On the low setting it sounds like a fan. On high its a little more like a jet turbine. Its a good machine though and I would buy it again.

It works pretty good but the remote isn’t always responsive.
