Good
Felt great while taking these. I feel like my hair and skin was much healthier but I've since used these up and had to move onto a different brand so unsure of long term effects.

A Deep Dive into Omega-3: Worth the Extra Quid?
I’ve recently started adding Omega-3 capsules to my daily routine, snagging them from a popular health shop, Holland & Barrett. As someone who’s quite conscious about what goes into my body, I always aim for sustainable options, even if they come with a higher price tag. Now, it’s worth noting that Omega-3 sourced from krill oil tends to cost a bit more than your standard fish oil. But hey, you really do get what you pay for, right? And we all have to work within our budgets. Being a bit more seasoned in life, I usually stick to about 1000mg of Omega-3 each day. The packaging suggests taking one or two capsules, while the general guideline is around 500mg daily. I appreciate that these capsules are made right here in Britain; it gives me a sense of satisfaction knowing I'm supporting local production and cutting down on food miles. However, there’s one aspect that doesn’t sit quite right with me – the capsules contain bovine gelatine. This means they’re not suitable for vegetarians or vegans, which is a bit of a letdown. It’s a shame, because I’d love to see more options that cater to different dietary needs. Overall, while I’m pleased with the quality of the Omega-3 I’m getting, I do wish there were a more inclusive option out there.

Like swallowing bullets!
This isn't a comment on their effectiveness, which it's probably too soon to judge (I've been taking them for about a month now). The thing is that for some mysterious reason I find them really hard to swallow! It's not the size of them -- they're not that big -- but somehow I often seem to get them stuck in my throat. No idea why this happens just with these capsules.

Great way to get my omega 3 at a good price
These OmegaMax - High Strength Red Krill Oil Capsules are stamped ‘British made’ but the small print says made in the EU and packaged in Uk. It comes in a neat box that’s easy to store. With the pollutants in the water fish isn’t as healthy an option these days so I eat less oily fish. So these are a great supplement to get my omega 3. I take 1 a day so that’s nearly 2 months supply for £21.49, or 36p a day which isn’t bad for the high quality krill oil.

Excellent Krill oil
At 32p per capsule these are not cheap, but Krill oil is an excellent source of EPA and DHA which is much more bioavailable than from fish oils. Each capsule contains 500mg of Krill oil and is a deep red colour. The colour comes from astaxanthin, of which there is 50 micrograms in each. That is a good dosage compared to other Krill oils on the market. There is only 110mg of omega 3 in this, which is to be expected as this is always the case with Krill oil. The capsules are good quality and have no smell or taste. Everything is as I would expect it to be with a supplement like this so I can only recommend it.

came with some capsules damaged
You get one of these flatpacks full of capsules, sadly some of these had leaked and made a mess, making it impossible to use the remaining ones. TBH from the strong fish smell that had developed, not sure I'd have wanted to

Red crill oil, black capsules
I ordered these capsules as supplements for a heart health diet, where I've been advised to supplement with Omega 3s. These are made in the UK, so will be subject to the EU regulations. They have a good long shelf-life, with a 'best before date' of the end of July 2027, so nearly three years. The flat bottle is great for minimising the amount of shelf-space. The capsules themselves are black, rather than the red shown in the listing and on the bottle (see picture) I found this a little disconcerting and it made me question whether the correct capsules were packed. I'm docking a star for this uncertainty. However, I've had other krill oil capsules that were similarly black, and these look, smell and taste the same as those. They are slightly fishy-smelling, and I find them best taken with water before eating so that there are no fishy burps! I've been advised to take 2g per day on days when I'm not eating fish, so with these that would be four capsules per day about 3-4 days per week, meaning the bottle should last about a month. Overall these are a reasonable choice for supplementing your Omega 3s.
