Excellent value - expect to spend time tweaking the sound
The 4K picture quality was stunning and it worked immediately! This adapter used the USB-C port on my MacBook Air M2 direct to the HDMI port on my Sony 4K TV, which routed it to my Yamaha receiver and then to speakers. The sound required a little tweaking. On the Mac I went to the System Settings/Sound/Output and changed the selection from "MacBook Air Speakers" to "Sony" and the sound worked easily from the front left and front right speakers; I have not yet accomplished getting sound from the center speaker. Volume control worked from either the Sony TV remote or from the YouTube video screen. I prefer dialog from the center speaker, but for the exercise videos I use I suspect it doesn't matter. I'll put a little more effort into a working center speaker, but not much.I also tested it with BlueTooth (BT) through my AirFly dongle from the front of the Audio-Visual receiver. The AirFly has a 3.5mm jack and the receiver a quarter-inch (6.35mm) port so I obtained a cheap ($6?) adapter and the setup worked well. The AirFly was easier to set up than working with the internal TV or receiver BlueTooth settings, so I'll continue using this setup with BT headphones. I also tried to adjust the volume through the AirFly +/- button, but it didn't work, and in fact blanked the screen - I had to turn everything off and start again. I'd avoid the AirFly controls in this particular setup.I bought the one-meter length cable and have to put my Mac on a bar stool near the HDMI ports on the TV. If I were buying it again I'd buy the two-meter cable. This cable adapter is an excellent value.

Seems to work...
This review is for: USB C to HDMI Cable 10ft 4K@60Hz, uni USB Type-C to HDMI Braided Cable (Thunderbolt 3 Compatible) with Samsung S21 / S20, MacBook Pro 2021/2020, MacBook Air/iPad Pro 2020, and MoreAmazon requests reviews of purchased products around the time that the product is delivered. This means that the reviews are based more on initial impressions than actual experience with the product. That said, here's the story:I was experimenting with hooking up my Vizio t.v. to my Macbook Pro because I was having problems with Internet streaming on the Vizio, even though the streaming had worked fine for a few years. I had previously bought an HDMI/C Connector cord from a local big-box home improvement store. When I hooked up the cable to t.v. and computer, it worked, but it took about 30 seconds of weird, digitized "noise" before the picture locked in, Because I had not done an HDMI/C Connector hook-up before, I figured that was a normal step for the t.v. and computer to sync up together. The audio from the computer did not play through the t.v.'s internal or external speakers, so I figured audio wasn't routed through the HDMI/C connector cable. It wasn't too long before this first cable failed, though. It took me a little while to figure out it was the cable that was the problem. I finally determined that the t.v. seemed to be working okay and the computer seemed to be fine, too. That left the cable as the suspect.I went to Amazon because of the convenience of shopping from home and the wide selection of products to choose from. Even a big-box store will probably not have a wide selection of reletively specialized products like an HDMI/C connector cable. Also, the user reviews are a big help in sorting through the many products Amazon offers.I looked at a number of of HDMI/C connector offerings and this 10' HDMI/USB cable was reasonably priced and well reviewed. The cable was promptly delivered. It appears to be robust with a thick, wiry feel. Almost too robust. I hooked it up to Vizio T.V. and to MacBook laptop and was amazed to see that the picture locked up almost immediately, without the digital noise that the original cord I had tried presented. I guess that the noise was the first indicator that the initial cord had problems. So, right out of the box, the new cord seemed to be better. Audio was still not delivered to the t.v.'s internal or external speakers. I don't know if there is some setting I have to adjust for audio, of if it is simply not delivered to the t.v. via the HDMI/USB cable. So, I give this a 5/5 based on the little experience I have with it. Like I said, the construction appears to be very robust. The wiriness of the cable makes it a little hard to straighten and route from t.v. to computer, but I'm not going to ding it a star for that, particularly if it lasts a long time. I do regret getting the 10' length. It's a little shorter than I need. I should have bought the 15' cord, but that's on me...

Tech Upgrade Success: New Cable, Immediate Connection, Just Missing the Audio! 📺🌐🔌
TLDR: New HDMI/USB cable works like a charm, immediate sync, but no audio through TV. 📺💻🔌Embarking on my tech adventure, I decided to connect my Vizio TV to my MacBook Pro. The goal? To bypass my Vizio's quirky internet streaming issues. I had this HDMI/C Connector cable from a local home improvement giant, which initially seemed fine, but it was like watching a digital fireworks show for 30 seconds before the picture stabilized. No sound through the TV speakers, though, left me wondering if that's just how these cables roll. Then, drama – the cable went kaput. After some Sherlock Holmes-ing, I pinpointed the culprit: the cable. Everything else was in tip-top shape.Enter Amazon – my go-to for easy shopping and an Aladdin's cave of tech treasures. The user reviews? A goldmine for decision-making. I zeroed in on a 10' HDMI/USB cable that boasted solid reviews and a wallet-friendly price tag.Delivery? Swift as a gazelle. The cable felt like it meant business – thick and sturdy, almost like it's been hitting the gym. Hooked it up, and voilà! The picture snapped into place instantly, minus the digital interpretive dance. But, plot twist, still no audio through the TV's speakers. Is it a setting thing, or is this cable just not into audio? 🤷♂️Rating time: It's a 5/5 from me, based on my newbie experience. This cable's built like a tank – a bit rigid, but hey, durability has its quirks. My only facepalm moment? Going for the 10' when I should've waltzed with the 15'. Lesson learned – when in doubt, go long!

Solid cable
I had been on the fence with this because I previously was using an Anker hub and thought I was getting by. I use this to connect my laptop to a second monitor. But after a while I just got tired of the aesthetic look of that and wanted a cleaner looking desk so went for this! Really satisfied with the cable. It looks and feels very high quality and haven't had any connection issues. Definitely recommend!

Works great and love the build quality but will not produce HDR context.
I've used this cable for almost 3yrs and it's great quality. My only gripe is that it will NOT support HDR despite is saying so on the product page.

Streaming Solution
This product offered an inexpensive and simple solution for streaming from an app that was not compatible with my LG tv. I am now able to stream from my Ipad to my tv by connecting them with this product. Very pleased.

Great for hotels
Recently I've been sent away with work and getting bored of terrestrial TV in the hotel's when trying to chill so thought I'd get this for use with my iPad.I'm glad I did and wish I did earlier. Quality is great and worked first time after plugging it in. I was able to watch Netflix, Disney+, Prime, etc. straight onto the hotel room tv, literally plug & play.Video quality of the shows from the iPad to the TV was great, definitely HD and sound quality was brilliant too.The cable itself looks high end and materials seem very durable. Comes with a little velcro tidy wrap to keep the cable wrapped up when not in use which is a nice extra touch.I got the 1m length which worked nicely for the hotel I was in but maybe I should have gone for a longer one as I know some hotels have TV's not near a desk, etc.I wasn't able to test the 120hz as the TV's in the hotel don't usually have that ability and my intention isn't to be using it for that anyway.
