Fits perfectly and high quality

Fits perfectly and helps to prevent damage to the hot shoe port. I dont know if it would be water tight but should help to keep the hot shoe safe

Seems like a quality item but would prefer them without the mysterious "1934" legend. Also wonder if I would be better off with cheaper plastic equivalents that cover all metal on the hot shoe and don't leave the side rails exposed.

A warning up front: This does not fit a Fujifilm X-E5. The back end of the hot shoe cover is slightly wider than the standard one and will not go all the way in. As this cover fits on all my other cameras, I would put this down to more about the X-E5 design. It does fit the X100VI, X-Pro2, X-E4 and GFX 50R. The hotshot cover is made of metal and has a nice tight fit, so it won't slip off during normal use. I have the silver one on my X100VI and it looks great. Rather than returning this (I got it for the X-E5), I've just put it on the 50R.

This cover sheet is well designed with a material under the top cover which prevent from a non intented removal

Thing is flush, fits snug and protects your hot shoe mount perfectly. Works great, seems like its gripped nicely in there and won't fall out. Cheap way to level up the look and protection on you x100 camera. Super easy to use literally just slid that sucker in there. Easy upgrade.
