This was exactly what I needed for painting, and household jobs. This little step ladder is the right height (not too short and helps me easily reach our tall ceilings). I wouldn't say lightweight but certainly not heavy, and it's easy to fold and carry and store flat. I'm totally confident on this ladder when painting, and I lite the bit of "railing" at the top to hold onto. Easily holds hubby at 190lbs. Good grip on each step. Easy to clean off.
