Fin resultat när behandlingen var nygjort, efter första tvätten var mitt hår jätte torr och frissigt. Rekommenderar ej.

I have curly frizzy hair, used this treatment and took my time to do it correctly, it is BRILLIANT, my hair has stayed shiny and straight for 4 days, I haven’t washed it yet so unsure if it will stay like that, I’ll update when I do.

Had high hopes. Bad results. Hair thinner looking but frizzy after a week. Did not work for me.

I got a keratin treatment done from my hair salon recently but because of the £££ I was looking for a cheaper alternative and this seemed good and convenient as it'd save me the trip to the salon too. I'm familiar with how a keratin treatment is done as I've watched my hairdressers doing it before and it is a simple process. Now here's where I knock one star off; the instructions are over simplified. Yes, the keratin treatment is a simple process but it also comes with a looong list of dos and donts. I have literally spent over 6 hours reading reviews, watching videos and readings loads and loads of articles about how to do a keratin treatment properly, what to avoid before, during and after etc. The lack of instructions this packet is setting up people for failure. I'll explain what I did in a nutshell. 1. Began a week before with conditioning my hair to prepare it for this treatment 2. Washed and dried it the day before to save time (don't apply anything on the hair after) 3. Sprayed the whole bottle on my hair the next day and left it for an hour 4. Wash off with COLD water (this is not mentioned on the instructions but my hairdresser said it's vital otherwise you'll activate/waste the treatment down the drain) 5. Blow-dry on a COLD setting (again, this was not mentioned but I learnt it online) 6. Straighten 6 times (I lost a lot of hair in this stage because the relentless straightening at 200⁰c is seriously damaging). Like a similar reviewer, my hair also smelt of rotten onions but I just tried not to smell it. The initial result was thinner, straight, bad smelling hair but it did look nice. At night sleep,my hairdresser told me to sleep with my hair hanging off the bed do it stays straight without any impressions in the hair so I did this. I also combed my hair regularly, a few times a day to keep it straight. I also straightened it when I woke up on the second day to reactivate the keratin treatment. I avoided putting anything on my hair so the keratin treatment could continue to work. After 4 days I washed my hair and some waves reappeared which was disappointing and the bad smell hadn't quite gone (another star deducted). It's day 7 now and my hair is frizzy and wavy so basically, after all my hours of research and several hours doing this treatment, the straight frizz free effect hasn't even lasted a week. I'm dreading how my hair will look after the next wash (third star deducted becauseit doesn't last). This treatment deserves 2 star for 1. The initial results (day 1 and 2) look good and give you hope that it'd last 2. The presentation of the bottle is nice and at £38 it's not incredibly expensive but don't expect lasting results. Unfortunately, as I bought a new digital hair straightener which regulates the temperature, I ended up spending a lot lot more than this. Pros: May be good for a temporary function. You will still need to continue straightening your hair as you normally do but this may speed up the process a bit, I.e. rather than straightening your hour twice over, you can do it just once over for a few weeks. The bottom line: Would I recommend this to any of my sisters? Certainly not. It's a lot of effort, seriously damaging to the hair, poor instructions, relatively expensive, and unlikely to last more than a week. UPDATE: It's been a week and I washed my hair for the second time. I delayed it because I wasn't confident that the effects of the treatment would last. Well, it didn't last. My hair once again smelt of rotting onions when shampooing it. I conditioned my hair then I left it to dry naturally and it reverted to being curly and frizzy but with the additional damage still there. My hair is still thinner than before the treatment, and dryer with more split ends. This little bottle has caused more damage than I could have imagined. I'm now using olaplex and a tresemme masque in an attempt to restructure/strengthen my hair and restore some moisture. I really thought that because I'd done the research, I knew what I was doing and I've had experience of a professional keratin treatment before that I could easily achieve the desired results, but no. I have no confidence that this product could last 3 months as it advertises as it didn't even last a week for me, despite all my efforts. You're welcome to give it a try. I'd just recommend keeping the bottle and packaging because if/when you need to return it, Amazon won't issue a refund without you sending back the product or original packaging. As for me, even if this were free, I would never again put my hair through this torture and I wouldn't wish it upon someone else so I've downgraded my review to 1 star. :(
