Great value for the price -- looks good, sounds good, diverse inputs
I got this amp for a tiny little TV/media room and have been pleasantly surprised. The sound and practicality of it are great for the price. It's small and looks good, so much that I built this thing its own shelf to match the TV's and show it off. The VU meter is pretty much meaningless but adds a fun touch without being too "retro." My family also really appreciates its simplicity. There are only a few controls and no remote to lose. The sound: paired with some old JBL "control room" monitors (now hidden behind the TV screen), and using the optical input, movies sound immensely better, compared to the built in TV speakers. There's a really nice stereo separation that actually makes the screen seem bigger. I'm also using the RCA inputs (for a turntable with its own preamp) and the bluetooth connection (for my phone). Playing records, the sound is hit or miss, but it's hard to know the source of the inconsistency. Some recordings with a bit more space in the arrangements sound fantastic, while more "wall of sound" type things don't sound as good -- but my other gear isn't that great, my standards are higher for music on its own, and the room itself influences the sound. Music via bluetooth is more consistent, but has a slightly compressed sound -- perhaps because of the digital source or bluetooth itself. Are there ways to get more amazing sound or more volume? Yes, I've heard better stereos. For big parties a DJ setup with a PA would be more practical. But for the price and features this does really really well.

Big Clean Power In a small package!!
This Gem of an amp is a great performer. I have tried it with a huge pair of Wharfedale E-90 tower speakers and they sounded amazing. Next, I connected the amp to a mini pair of Micron speakers. I got the same results. The next set of speakers I tried were a vintage pair of JSE model 1. Unlike the Wharfedale speakers the JSE are not efficient. The Fosi amp handled them perfectly! This amp has a pro look and the build quality is awesome. The switching between inputs is flawless. I found connecting to Bluetooth was very easy. I have used my cell phone as well as my mp3 player to stream. My Nad cd player sounded great. This 2.2 pound powerhouse is also small. 13.89 x 9.25 x 3.62 inches. The only thing I would like to see on the amp is a 1/4 " headphone jack I own a super pair of Grados and I would love to hear what they would sound like on the Fosi. This amp is a winner.

Great value, but nothing spectacular
Bought this as a gap filler for my humble bedroom stereo while I save for higher end equipment. It’s driving a pair of Klipsch RB-51 II bookshelf speakers, primarily playing downloaded lossless ALAC files from my phone through the USB-C input. THE GOOD: It feels and looks to be well made. There’s no rattling, loosely fitting pieces, or gaps between panels. The matte finish is attractive and satisfying to touch. The VU meter and the warm white color of its light speak to the vintage hi-fi lover in me. For near-field listening at lower to moderate volumes, this little guy is surprisingly dynamic and has enough power for the type of listening I plan to use if for. The highs are crisp without being harsh, and the lows are punchy and accurate. The mids are pleasantly expressed by themselves but do ”sag” a little and turn a bit hollow when there is more going on in the mix. However, I have had similar experiences with other amps and believe the speakers are more to blame there. Connecting by Bluetooth is simple and intuitive. The sound quality takes a noticeable dive, but nothing more than what is expected with any Bluetooth connection. After 3 hours of playing music at a moderate-to-high volume with the treble increased to about 75% and the bass tuned up to roughly 60%, the unit was still cool to the touch. THE BAD: It is a bit of what I expected from a small, cheap, class-c amplifier. When I choose a song with a lot going on in the low end and turn the volume up to “fun”, the amp shows its lack of headroom and sounds fatigued. The sound imaging fades, the highs and mids are pushed back, and I get some distortion. I suspect the power delivered is nowhere close to the claimed power rating, as these particular speakers are rated for 75W RMS/300W peak, 8 ohms nominal impedance, and have a 92dB sensitivity rating. THE VERDICT: I’ve been listening to music through this amplifier for about 6 weeks now and I don’t regret my purchase in the least. In fact, this little amp surprised me a bit and exceeded my expectations for the temporary budget solution I intended it to be. I would gladly buy it again. Just don’t expect it to sound like an amp 3x its price and you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing product.
Everything I’ve ordered from Fosi has been amazing. The build quality is amazing. No rattles, no dings or dents. It is solid. The VU meter gives the modern look a little bit of a retro feel. It looks great. I hooked up a pair of Klipsch RP 600m speakers and everything came to life. Big, full sound. Build quality: 10/10 Style: 10/10 Sound: 10/10

You absolutely won't get 680watts RMS out of this Amp but it does what I needed it to.
Lets begin with the pros: This amp does exactly what I needed it to be because I knew what I was getting into from the beginning and it is very plug and play. I have 2x bookshelf speakers that are rated for a max RMS of 100watts each which means this amp could never blow them due to only being able to supply 77w RMS per channel using a 2.0 config. For sound quality it is honestly pretty good and uses the TPA3255 chip which is pretty much what you would expect it to be, it's clean and pretty accurate and a Class D amp chip. Power rating aside, the IO is also pretty decent for the price (when on sale) given it has a passive and pre amp out for those who want 2.1 setups and 5 input source options. Aesthetically it also looks particularly nice and being low profile it takes up very little desk space and is perfect for a desktop set up like my own and blends in well with the other audio interfaces I have for my mic and headphones respectively. Now the cons: To start you absolutely will not get the 680watts RMS this amp claims, the two power bricks that the manufacturer suggest pairing with this device are a 32V/5A (160W RMS) and 48V/5A (240w RMS) and I would not suggest using a higher voltage/amperage adapter to achieve higher wattage due to it being passively cooled with no venting. For the IO my only complaint is that the pre out for passive subwoofers is a 3.5mm out rather than a RCA out meaning I needed to buy a 3.5mm to RCA (L+R) cable to connect my subwoofer. Conclusion: Please know exactly what you are buying, and keep an eye out for input/power brick ratings to make sure they line up with the claimed power ratings of any amp/receiver you consider buying. I honestly wish I could give a higher rating because it is so close to being a 5 star product but fell short due to false advertising by the manufacturer and for $160 (on sale) you only get the 32V/5A adapter and would need to pay another $40 for the 48v/5A adapter if you bought it through the manufacturer and that is just to get up to 240w of the 680w promised...That is at least worth slashing 3 stars to me.

Fosi did a really nice job with this amp
I bought this the first weekend it's out, mostly on the strength of reviews of their V3 at audio science review. I haven't been disappointed. It's a nice little package, doesn't heat up much, gets appropriately loud (driving some boston acoustics VR2 8ohm towers) with the stock 32v power adapter, and loud! with one but not two exclamation points with the optional 48v adapter. Sound is _clean_ either through RCAs or bluetooth, and it turns the bluetooth off when not selected so your neighbors can't pair to it. Reconnects to last connected device. Easy to switch between devices, it pairs to multiple. Would be nice if it had a way to set balance or lowpass/highpass, even as back-panel, but it doesn't. Nice positive-detent bypasses for the tone control. VU meter goes doink, which is really all you can ask out of it. It's actually more useful than it would appear to set a good gain structure. Windows 11 has a problem connecting to it, evidently their AAC support isn't all that great, but it's prioritized by default. Android connects with AAC just fine. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\BthA2dp\Parameters] "BluetoothAacEnable"=dword:00000000 Note that per the manual it only support SBC and AAC
