Burlap in any form is a great multi-use tool for gardens.Great for pinning over fallow beds to mitigate erosion. Great for storage of root crops, corms, tubers, and bulbs. Great for putting over plants as a protective layer against light chills and frosts, but not heavy, hard frosts. Works as a make-shift wind barrier if against some other upright structure, but won't block wind completely, just kind of slows the total whipping edge of the wind to something a little less damaging.This specific burlap isn't all that tightly woven, but being double-layered as a bag, it can work better as a wind-break if you need it as that, but is already seamed up as storage for roots.No gardener should be without burlap in their tool shed.

Great for root vegetables- less so for body parts.

These wreak of petroleum smell - definitely NOT food grade and NOT appropriate for food growing/ storage. Falsely marketed as food safe, environmentally friendly, & free of synthetic chemicals.

This burlap left me holding a long uncut piece of fabric. Exprected bags with ties and it came as a solid piece. Very disappointed but repurposed.
