Very well made with very nice compact carrying case for travel. My grandchildren brought it with them during their travel to Florida 2 weeks ago and they loved it. I believe it is the acceptable size for tournaments. It also was delivered ahead of promised date. Thank you.

I’m a chess coach, and I was glad to find this item on eBay.I like using mouse pad boards because they won’t slip around, no matter how frantic the play gets if you’re running out of time. And I prefer the weighted pieces like these. There are regulations and size requirements regarding chess boards that can be used in tournaments, and this meets all of the requirements. And the case is nicer than most of the bags that get used for pieces.The price is a lot higher than a similar board that I have, but I got my other board 20 years ago. I compared this set to the other sources I use for chess equipment, and the price is about the same.
