This scooter was easy to use, easy to get in and out of the car, easy to charge, the batteries lasted a long time, easy to travel with, domestically and internationally. This was the best investment my husband has ever made. I have limited mobility due to severe osteoarthritis in my knees and am unable to stand or walk for medium to long periods. This made me feel very dependent on others. This scooter gave me my independence at home and was amazing for traveling. It was lightweight enough for me to get it in and out of my car by myself. I was able to travel with it. Taking the scooter through TSA and on the airplane was easier than I thought. There were times when security would have to double-check the scooter, but that was minor when you consider traveling domestically and internationally with a mobility scooter. I loved how long it would run in between charges. It was easy to charge either with the batteries still connected or if you removed the batteries and charged them on their own. My husband and I researched mobility scooters and wheelchairs, and would recommend this scooter to those who need their independence.

We took the scooter on three legs of plane flights to get to Hawaii. Each airline treats the scooter and batteries differently so it's best to fill out all the info on each airline's website way before you go. We left the scooter at the point where you board the plane (with strollers, etc.) and picked it up at the same place. My husband also took my roller walker for me to use for short distances. No cost to take both.Folding and unfolding the scooter is easy. As you would suspect, it doesn't work in soft sand and surfaces that are too bumpy, but I was more than satisfied with how it performed on varied surfaces.We rented a Jeep and later a car. The lightweight scooter wasn't too heavy for my husband to lift in and out of the vehicles but make sure the vehicles you rent are large enough to hold all your baggage, a roller walker (if applicable) and the scooter, too. Fold down back seats help a lot.We kept both batteries charged up, but never used more than one a day. It was nice to have the backup battery just in case. We went to Pearl Harbor, the Polynesian Cultural Center, Volcanoes National Park and many botanical gardens. The scooter was a real hit! Most places in the U.S. and Canada have ADA accessibility; even the U.S.S. Missouri!I have a larger and heavy-duty scooter that I use at home, but this small scooter is perfect for plane travel. I recommend it highly.BTW, two small pieces arrived bent due to shipping. Aotedor's customer service (Austin and Izaak) did a great job of getting me new ones. I recommend calling until you get an answer rather than leaving messages/emails.

I love my scooter I depend on it to get me around I can’t use my legs to for much. They said it goes on the dirt only if you hard packed dirt if it’s a little lose your tires will just spin, and the motor will race high. I live on dirt which I was hoping the scooter wouldn’t done better in the dirt but I love the performance of the scooter and handles great on normal surfaces it’s very stable, light to fold up weight is 37 pounds, you just unfold the top pull up set and your ready to go.

Does what it says in description. Assembly was easy as can be. Gets great mileage. Turning radius is excellent. Easy to get into car. Can lift with one hand to put the front wheels into van then just lift the a L end and role it into van. Now Im able to travel to aces Icouldnt go because I couldn't walk the distance. Got tired of waiting for wheelchairs at the airport. Now I can take this everywhere!The only negative is the seat back has torn at the seams. I have taken the armrest off as it was making it difficult to get through some doorways. Didnt really need the armrests anyway.Want to purchase another one for my spouse but delivery is going to take too long before our trip in July.

I have POTS and going for walks or even just shopping in a store is no longer possible. It was recommended I use a mobility scooter. I did a lot of research and went back and forth on what features I would prefer. I really wanted something I can travel with but also use every day to run errands. I decided to purchase this Aotedor ultra lightweight folding electric powered scooter. It has all the features I was looking for including 2 batteries and according to the reviews it is easy to fold and lift into the back of a vehicle. I agree it is easy to fold up and unfold and I really liked the ease of adjusting the handle. It's a beautiful design and doesn't take up a lot of room. It's easy to wheel once folded and the weight is distributed to the front two wheels. It is very sturdy and drives smoothly and I didn't have any problems maneuvering it in a small store at the mall. Unfortunately I was only able to use it once because it is too heavy for me to lift into the back of the car. I hurt my wrist and shoulder lifting it in and out. I even took the batteries out first but unfortunately I think the weight is towards the front of the scooter and not the batteries. Even my able-bodied 18 year old struggled to get it out of the back of the car. I believe it weighs more than 38 lbs. I really love this scooter and can recommend it for anyone with good upper body strength. I have gone back and forth on whether I want to return it or not because I'm going on a cruise in April and I think this would be a perfect scooter to have on that trip. Unfortunately, I need something for every day use too that I can easily get in and out of the car to use for quick trips as well as longer ones.
