Great customer service
I had issue with the pressure valve - water leakage even with tons of tape. Reached out to seller for a solution, seller quickly sent a replacement. Great service!Otherwise, the quality is good, function as advertised, value for money. The tank is a bit smaller than 2.5Gallon though so be aware.

Once you use these, you will NEVER have a Hot water tank again!
I ordered this for the half bathroom in my husbands shop. It was super simple to install and installation of this unit took about 20 minutes to mount, hook up and get hot water running to the sink in the bathroom. Everything was already piped in and ready to go so installation was a breeze. There is no noise that is noticeable with this unit in the cabinet under the sink. It's built solid and functional for getting constant hot water flowing freely to a space where there is otherwise no hookup for a hot water source. We are very familiar with instant hot water systems as we have a whole house "hot water on demand" system in our home. It is something we would recommend for EVERYONE. Overall, this is a energy efficient, space saving system for anyone looking for an alternative to purchasing a big bulky hot water tank.

Multiple problems, eventually failed after 6 months.
The inlet and outlet threads are too big, 1/2" not fittings are so loose i had to use a large amount of Teflon tape, and pipe dope, still had leaks and had to re- plumb it 3 times. After 6 months the tank failed and leaked, now I must purchase another unit. This was installed for one of my customers, and I lost at least 3 times the cost of the United on call-back labor time.

Mini lifesaver
I was trying to shop for a shower heater and I came across this and it says it’s for only sink but I’m surprise on how this can be multi use honestly it’s been helping so much after my heater stop working the water heating temperature it’s great it hits higher temperatures also great functionality great small design fits anywhere overall it’s helping and I love it for the price I pay can’t ask for more

Like cow bells, it needs more thread tape
The item seems to be heating the water just fine. The problem is that the male threads on the pressure relief valve are not as tight in the female receiver on the unit as what I consider as "usual". I had to pull the undercabinet unit, disconnect both braided lines, disassemble the drain line and add 3 times as much thread tape than on any plumbing job I've ever done (far more than the tape provided with the unit). Be fore warned.

Hopefully will be alright in the long run; but...
Update:From the seller: "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience regarding your order and would like to offer you a full refund for your purchase." Since I was significantly inconvenienced I accepted the full refund and since now the heater cost me nothing, I'm upgrading my rating from 3 to 4 stars. Suits me.============================================I just installed this water heater under my kitchen sink. I have always wanted to have "instant" hot water instead of waiting a long time for heated water to reach my kitchen faucet from my main water heater far away. These are my experiences:Good:- [ ] It is nearly silent both while heating and not heating; in fact I cannot hear it heating. (I was concerned about it being noisy.) I only hear a low click when it reaches the set temperature.- [ ] Heats very fast- [ ] Heat extremely hot---this might be useful if I need a hotter than usual hot setting I use most of the time. I can just turn up the heat temporarily. "30-65C" = 86-149F- [ ] Just fits under my kitchen sink. Not sure any size larger would fit- [ ] No problem running my garbage disposal with this heater on. Both are plugged into the same outlet. (Although I don't know if that would still be true when the dishwasher is running. But I don't use that.)Medium:- [ ] This is not a high end water heater. I would say it is medium.Bad:- [ ] Instructions say *nothing* about the third, middle water connection. (See photo.) Lots of YT videos show the pressure safety valve connected to this middle connector, which *only* makes sense as otherwise water will shoot out of that connection. Instructions specifically say to attached the pressure safety valve to the cold input connection. That makes zero sense! If you look at the photos in the ad, you can see the safety valve correctly fitted onto the 3rd, middle water connector!! Fix your manual!!!- [ ] The illustrations are partly horrible, very confusing and incompleteMinus 1 star for the poor manual- [ ] I had to rewrap the pressure safety valve 4 times and finally with about 10(!) wraps before it would stop leaking. I was going to return this heater if the 4th attempt failed. You could not even see the threads before screwing it in! I used my own pipe tape, as the tape provided was too flimsy and thin. After fighting with the leaking 4 times it finally occurred to me that the pressure safety valve connector is slightly too small to prevent leaks unless a ton of pipe tape is used. Without any pipe tape the valve screws into the fitting on top of the heater all the way and is not tight enough to prevent a leak.- [ ] I'm disappointed in the temperature dial. I was expecting to be able to right away set the temperature I want it to stay at. Instead, the red/"heating" light is on while the water is heating. When the temperature reaches wherever the dial is positioned (you don't know until the temperature reaches there!), then the red/heating light turns off and the green/"insulation" light turns on. You only then finally know what temperature the water is at. I may put numbers around the dial, but I don't know how repeatable that would be.- [ ] I could only use one of the two supplied water hoses. Had to buy another one.- [ ] I could not find any customer support phone numberMaybe this should have been given a 2-star rating, but I'm feeling generous. If this heater lasts a long time I'll be satisfied with it---despite the initial problems.I have read several people connecting their hot water source to the cold input connection. I am trying that, but I'm not sure that makes the best sense because the main house water heater will then always run when this mini-heater is used. The reasoning is that by using the hot water source, if a lot of hot water is being used then that hot water will heat up to the desired set water heater temperature faster. That makes some sense, but I'm not sure I would need that. I'll experiment with it. I'll probably switch to the cold water source later on.YMMV!

Leaks leaks leaks
Water seems to get pretty hot but this thing won’t stop leaking. Used the extra heavy duty teflon tape on all connections but it’s still leaky. Agree with other reviews, temp dial is odd. You can’t set it to a specific temp, you just turn it and have to see where it ends up after it is done heating. It’s a very small tank, used it on a remote sink and water only stays hot for a few seconds. I’d say maybe find another brand that uses the right tolerances on their fittings

Great
We have a tankless hot water heater which we love because you don’t run out of hot water, but when a faucet is far away from it, it takes awhile for the water to get warm. I hated standing there wasting water waiting on it to get hot to wash dishes or brush your teeth. We ordered two of these, one for the kitchen, and one for the bathroom. One had a faulty pop off valve, but they sent another one. My husband installed them easily. Instant hot water now! We love them!
