Does the job, light, fast, easy to use
The easiest, quickest, easily stored, decently built, well designed cooling system vacuum pump I have seen or used. I wanted something easy, quick, works well, cooling system bleeder and for me this fit the bill. Doesnt need to be fancy that takes time to hookup, it just needs to be simple and quick. Its not perfect, price is high, a bit messy with the air and cooling, have to coordinate the holding of the unit in the radiator while purging the system and refilling it but welcome to the world of auto repair.

This one is great for the money
This one is great for the money, does the same job as all the other expensive ones except cheaper and quicker for the simple fact that it has a push button that you hold and when you release it it stops the venturi vacuum effect. good because there no changing hoses or adapter for neck and simpler design, and the one size fits all has worked on every vehicle I have tried.Only thing is since a push button you cant just hook it up and walk away like the other ones but who needs to do that when you should be making sure there's no leaks and its fast enough as it is anyways.Only problem I had which isn't necessarily the products fault is that do to the nature of some coolants, the coolant can be sucked up into the tool and gauge which if not cleaned or used frequently, it can become blocked, restricted, mine the gauge stopped working, took it off and cleaned up the port and worked fine after that..... over all great product for the value compared to others**********Update, not sure if its the design but does not get all the air out of the cooling system and takes longer to fill then some other ones I've used********* will try other types and see if they're better.

I'm glad I finally bought one. Good quality construction and performs well.
I can’t count how many times I have fought trapped air in cooling systems. I’m a weekend warrior in the garage but I work on all of my family’s cars and I’ve had enough so I broke down and bought a vacuum filling system. I just wish I would have bought it years ago. This makes filling a cooling system very fast and easy. The quality seems pretty good, good enough for my light duty application and I wouldn’t worry about loaning it out to friends.Great price here with Amazon PRIME too!

Decent
Came broken in the box.i was refunded and ended up buying the same one off the snap-on truck for the same money with a 1 year warranty. Works great but for the money you would think it would be made of metal instead of cheap plastic. Only vacuum filler we have found at the for dealer that makes a tight seal in all vehicles. I haven't come across any vehicles that it doesn't work on so far.

BETTER THEN SNAP ON

A must have for those shade tree mechanics and those who value time.
I have been wrenching for about 20 years and it always was challenging for me to burp the coolant system. I have an old Land Rover Discovery 2 and this truck is a bare to burp the coolant system due to complex routing of coolant hoses. It takes me days and all kinds of tricks to fully burp the system.I used this last night and it took me all but maybe 5 minutes to fully fill the cooling system and having the confidence of not having air pocket that can create hot spots on the engine is just priceless. It connects to a compressed air source and you place the conical part of the tool into the reservoir or opening of the radiator. You hit a small button, it will start drawing vacuum and it does so in seconds. Watch the needle hold vacuum for some time and if it does not leak, you dunk the fill hose into the source for the coolant (which you should have enough amount to fill the entire cooling system at once otherwise you will have air pocket during the transfer of fluid.) open the valve and vacuum sucks in the fluid. Let it do its thing for a few minutes until it completely fills the system and the hoses are no longer collapsed and you are done!Having confidence that you are not going to blow your head gasket due to lack of coolant or presence of air pocket is a thing of past with this tool. I believe this is exactly the same thing as Airlift II Econ version.
