Superb natural mineral salt
Excellent quality, natural salt with high mineral content and excellent flavour for general use in cooking and for addition to sport's drinks. I particularly like adding a small pinch to water based porridge to eat after my daily 5k run and exercises. Thank you Baja and Amazon for a top quality product at a fair price.

Mineral magic in every pinch!
After doing quite a bit of research on different types of salt and their potential health benefits, I decided to give Baja Gold a try. It’s supposed to have a high mineral content compared to regular table salt, I can’t personally verify those claims, but I like that it’s harvested in a more natural way and not stripped of trace minerals. In terms of taste, it’s excellent, clean and slightly sweet. I’ve noticed it enhances food flavour without the harshness that some salts can have. One thing to note, it’s a little more moist than other course salt, so it doesn’t flow well in a salt grinder. I just use a mortar and pestle to break it down a bit when I need finer grains, and that works perfectly. It’s definitely pricier than most salts, but considering the quality and taste, I’m happy with the purchase. A little goes a long way, and it feels good to be using something more natural and flavourful.

Glad I tried this
I picked up the name and type of this salt from a podcaster. Mentioned it as top quality given its mineral content and origin. My normal salt would be Celtic sea salt, which is naturally grey. While not unhappy with Celtic, this Baja does indeed taste better and I can even get the wife to have this too. I suppose Baja does look more appealing too. It’s not the looks that sell me though, it’s certainly distinguishable in flavour because its natural minerals. Used it for the Christmas roast potatoes, upgraded and immediate improvement. Recommended, it’s not just hype.

Tastes like Filtered Water
Love this product! Does not have a taste of salt at all, just tastes like you’ve had water from a filter.

This ORGANIC salt has an amazing taste. I did some research and this was the top rated out of many such as Himalayan Pink, Celtic Salt, Sea Salt and Black Salts. This salt comes out of the ocean, filtered through sands, and settled into a small controlled pool in the Baja Bay. It has with around 96 minerals and trace elements. It is Unprocessed and Unrefined. I have used this in cooking and baking as well as a pinch in my water after I have worked. No need for a lot. Also would recommend for any age to get some of those needed trace minerals.
