Fantastic kitchen tools
The pull chopper is amazing — super easy to use, chops quickly, and the large capacity is perfect for my family meals. I also got a complimentary handheld vegetable spiral cutter, and it works beautifully for making veggie spirals. Both are excellent quality and make meal prep so much easier. Great customer service too!

What an Amazing little kitchen gadget !
I like things that make my life easier and spend hard earned money on quality things that enrich our daily life's. This little Kitchen gadget is one among them. It really makes my life a bit easier in the Kitchen . I have tested this on multiple items and here is my honest feedback. Anything soft it stumbles a bit , like tomatoes, cilantro and green onion ( it crushes them instead of chopping them) . Its not the choppers fault as even my well sharpened knife did that on very ripe/soft tomatoes. Anyways a well crushed tomato is not that bad as its perfect for Salsa or Pasta sauce or even curry sauce. Now the good stuff. Its excellent in cutting nuts ( peanuts, pecans , almonds and walnuts ), regular and sweet potatoes, all types of onion ( red, white and yellow ), amazing with carrots, celery , mushrooms , broccoli, cabbage ,cucumber, jalapenos , serrano's and even crushes ice easily( though not a good thing to do often ). I also tested it on apples and it was good. But the thing I really like about, is its cutting skills even on very small stuff like a clove or two of garlic ( most processors don't do this) and even a miniscule piece of ginger for my tea in the evening. Many folks think that this chopper has very small cup size ( 1 cup ) , but don't let that fool you. You can directly chop this on a wooden or plastic cutting board without the bottom cover and seriously not have any limitation on size. I was able to mince and chop 5 large onions for a party in 3-4 minutes right on my cutting board. Finally the cleaning part. This is where it excels most others on the market. The whole thing comes off for easy cleaning and reassembly . Please see Di Reggale's youtube video for assembly instructions. Its really easy once you get the hang off it and it becomes second nature ...Saving the best part for the last is the customer service. When was the last time you saw a company standing behind its products for Life ? Nancy has been a source of terrific support in answering any questions on the product and really walks that extra mile to support her customers. This type of customer service is really rare these days and happy to support folks like them. Buy this product, use it with care as it was designed to be and I bet you can get years worth of service from this little gadget .

This company has GREAT customer service. Try the product!
Purchased for smaller jobs of chopping, and the chopper is great. It has a spin mechanism inside that cleans the sides of it as you chop, to make sure nothing goes untouched. It is sharp, looks good and I wish I could say stood up to the many chops it had in our kitchen, but we had the same problem as just a few others with the area around the chop coil on top that separated. Now that being said, the customer service of this small mom and son company is superior to any other time I've had issue with an Amazon purchase. We sent pics of the issue and they didn't hesitate one second to tell us they will send us a replacement. For that reason and the fact that I think the ones that broke were just a weird batch that had the issue, we would buy this product again, and buy it from this company. As for the chopper, it works great for jobs that you don't want to haul out the big boys for. Cleaning was no different than any other chopper we've had, the blades were great, the chop was even and the spin thing (no idea what that is called) inside to keep things from sticking to the sides as you chop was helpful. And again, the customer service was great!

Impressed and Disappointed
I bought this compact mini dicer specifically because I did not want to use or to store a large bulky device. 1. I am especially impressed with the cutting blades. They are so thin, I thought they would not be strong enough and that they'd bend and break. But the blades are powerful enough for the cutting I do - even raw potatoes. I have also diced, onions, tomatoes, and pitted olives with this dicer. 2. Once the device is assembled, the pusher and the blades line up perfectly. Push hard enough and a batch is diced. (Very nice) I did buy another dicer (also being returned) and the pusher and blade are aligned prior to each push by trial and error. It can take many attempts before you have a diced result. I mention this because importantly, the Vivaant Compact Mini Dicer has been successful in pusher to blade alignment. The device stays aligned until you disassemble. I am disappointed in a few things and believe they can be improved. I would try this product again if these improvements are made. !. The device is not easy to clean. Neither the blades nor the pusher can be cleaned by rinsing alone (as stated on the website) or using the cleaning brush provided. Cleaning the pusher is the hardest, most time-consuming, and most tedious. The spaces are arranged (reasonably) in 9 columns and 9 rows. To clean all the debris, I have to push a slim blade (I have not yet found a brush that works well) up and down between each of the 9 columns and then back and forth across each of the 9 rows. I usually have to do all of that multiple times to purge all the debris. It takes far too long to push debris out of the pusher. The pusher is not removable, so you can not push debris through it to the other side. 2. The container needs to be taken apart to clean. This is also a nuisance. Assembling and disassembling the device is not intuitive and requires too much attention. The top has to be aligned at a specific angle before pushing onto the base or removing from the base. There is no visible mark to id this angle when removing the top. I get it wrong far more than I get it right. 3. The device comes with 2 dicers of 2 sizes. (Nice) The spare dicer is stored in the top. (Nice). I can not easily pull it out. And it's even harder to reinstall it. It only fits one way, but since the blade device looks almost the same from the top or the bottom, from back or front and from side to side. (perhaps a future version can simply include alignment markings on the parts needing to be aligned.) It's not always obvious and thus takes too long. 4. I really like the idea of a small 3x3" blade. Unfortunately, inside the frame, the blade size is (about 2/3/4" and is not large enough to accommodate many of the vegetables (eg. medium onions about 3 3/8 diameter") I routinely want to dice. Therefore, I must trim too many pieces to fit with a knife before placing in the blade area. I'd probably prefer a 4x4" effective blade cutting area. 5. The front of the container is open, perhaps to make it easier to empty the container between veggies or if it gets full. (Nice) Unfortunately, I found out the hard way that when cutting a juicy item, like tomatoes, if you don't cover the opening you, your counters, and maybe your floors, will get sprayed with the juice. While dicing one onion, I found out, that the container is not large enough for a whole medium sized onion. I was almost done with the onion, it looked like there was more room in the container, then BAM - the newly diced pieces jettisoned a bunch of previously diced pieces from the container, hit me and landed on the countertop and the floor. The assembled device is a bit large and awkwardly shaped for my small hands and I really don't want to stop and empty it for part of a medium onion. I like the uniform dices created by this dicer to using a food processor/blender. But I'm returning this one, because using it irritates me.

Vivaant Compact Dicer
I bought my Compact Dicer in March of last year. I did not open the box until the other day. I had forgotten about it. I needed some onions chopped and I hate chopping onions! For some reason, I remember buying that Dicer. I found it sitting back on a shelf, washed it and used it! It sure saved me time and was very easy to use. I am very satisfied with my purchase and plan to use it often.

This chops perfectly - including leafy greens!
This is the 3rd small hand held chopper I have purchased - all 3 different - all three are good choppers. This is my favorite chopper now - because this one chops leafy greens perfectly, which neither of my other two can do. I ordered this one because it holds a bit more than most small non-electrics, at least more than my other 2 choppers. The little bit more makes a huge difference. It chops cabbage for slaw, crackers to crumbs, everything that I've ever tried to chop. This is not the easiest to clean but I like that its made in a way that allows me to pop it open and clean inside the top. I like it so much that I ordered a 2nd one.
