i have a Ford ecosport 2019 model. It has Android auto but it has to be plugged into a usb port to work no wireless option with this model. was looking at the various options to enable wireless on my car as i already have the convenience of wireless charging. the 2 top branded items are around £70 and i saw this item for £39 with some good reviews so thought i would chance it. item arrived in a compact box with basic instructions and 2 usb adapter cables. out of the box this needs a firmware update to function correctly as per some of the other reviews. The upodate procedure is very frustrating be prepared to cus and swear a lot and give up multiple times before finally getting it to udate. once updated connection to the the car is very quick and straight forward, couple of clicks on the bluetooth then the wifi and its connected. once connected you can use your android auto as per normal without the hassle of connecting the cable. have been using now for a few weeks with problems its just the sam,e as being wired, hopefully it lasts.
