Fun boat to run in pool or calm lake, holding up well so far.

This is an excellent toy for kids in the 8 to 12 year age range, providing entertainment for longer periods for the younger age range. I wish I had owned this when my daughter was younger, she is 11 now, and it apparently wasn't fun enough for her to want to play with it again, because she keeps saying no to going to the lake to play with it, she would rather just walk by the lake I guess. I think it's super cool though, but I didn't grow up with super cool toys like the kids do these days. We ended up getting two from different sellers, and this was the one my daughter preferred. It handles better and has a faster response time. Also, it has a feature where it alerts you when the battery is running low or you are getting too far away. Plus the capsize button, which will quickly and effortlessly flip the boat back over if it flips upside down. Those features are truly essential when playing with this on a lake! Additionally, this boat has a total runtime of 80 min vs. the other one which is only a total of 60 minutes.This boat has everything you could want in an RC boat. It can operate on water and has bright LED lights for nighttime play. It is easy to learn how to use the remote and the RC boat responds to it pretty quickly, which gives it a really smooth driving experience. It is well made and feels durable, which is important for nearly any toy that will be used by kids.Overall, it’s a really fun toy that seems to be well made and my daughter and I enjoyed playing with our boats together, even though hers, which was this one, was the much better performer in MANY aspects!! This remote control boat was so much fun in the summer! Our daughter absolutely loved being able to control the boat in the water! It was super easy for her to control. It seems to be made fairly well as it held up all summer long. I like that you get two batteries so that when one dies you can just switch it out with the other one giving her much longer to be able to play the boat than many other remote control cars. It doesn't go super fast but it definitely goes faster than I expected it to. This would be a great addition for any child in the summer or even in the bathtub!
