Much cheaper than any other dashboard for SimRacing!
I recently added the Eyoyo 5 inch Monitor, 800x480 Mini TFT LCD Screen to my racing rig, and it has been a fantastic addition, especially as a dashboard. The compact size fits perfectly into my setup without taking up too much space, and the 800x480 resolution provides clear and sharp visuals. The 140° wide viewing angle ensures that I can see all the necessary information from different positions, which is crucial during intense racing sessions. The multiple video input options (HD, VGA, AV) make it versatile and easy to connect to various devices. The monitor’s metal housing adds durability, and the built-in speaker is a nice touch for additional audio feedback. Overall, this monitor is an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their racing rig with a reliable and high-quality dashboard display.

Perfect for my application
I used this as a screen for my TrueNAS server. I’ve always had a big computer screen and it’s always been a little bit in the way. This is perfect. I mounted it right to the side of the server. This monitor is the same resolution as the standard TrueNAS console screen. I was excited to see that the back of the monitor had threaded holes for M3 standoffs (the same ones used on motherboards). Unfortunately I still had to take the monitor apart so that I could use the backplate as a template for drilling my holes. Disassembling it does void the warranty because there is foil stickers over the screws. Taking it apart was no big deal. 4 screws on the side and you can pop the frame off and gingerly move the screen out of the way before removing the screws to the circuit board. One thing I was surprised by was that it has an internal speaker. If you hook it up to HDMI it would play audio as well. I plugged it into a fire stick to confirm. But I didn’t explore volume controls or anything. All in all it’s a nifty little thing and perfect for what I needed.

Eyoyo 7-Inch Small Mini Monitor – Perfect for Industrial Work!
I purchased the Eyoyo 7-inch Small Mini Monitor for industrial work, and it has been an excellent addition to my setup. This compact yet powerful screen provides great performance in a small form factor. Pros: ✅ Clear & Sharp Display – The screen resolution is crisp, and the colors are vibrant, making it easy to read even in detailed applications. It provides a clear picture whether I’m using it for monitoring systems, diagnostics, or as a secondary display. ✅ Compact & Lightweight – The small size makes it easy to integrate into tight spaces or mount on equipment. It’s lightweight yet sturdy, which is ideal for industrial use. Be careful with monitor from dropping it. ✅ Multiple Input Options – This monitor supports HDMI, VGA, and more inputs, which is great for compatibility with different devices. I’ve used it with industrial machines, cameras, and computers without any issues. ✅ Good Build Quality – The monitor feels solid and well-made. It has been handling daily use in an industrial environment without any signs of wear or performance drops. ✅ Easy Setup & Use – Setting it up was straightforward. Just plug it in, and it works instantly with no complicated configurations needed. Cons: ⚠ Speakers Are Basic – The built-in speaker works fine but isn’t very loud. For most industrial applications, I use external audio if needed. ⚠ Limited Viewing Angles – While the display is clear, the viewing angles could be better. It’s best when viewed straight on. ⚠ Durability - Jot recommended for industrial work unless you are being very careful with it but it works great for logging into a computer that doesn’t have a screen. The Eyoyo 7-inch Small Mini Monitor is a fantastic choice for industrial work. It’s compact, reliable, and delivers excellent display quality for its size. With multiple input options and durable construction, it’s perfect for various applications. Highly recommended!

Amazing Monitor for PC Builds!
I use this in my PC to have a cool LCD monitor that plays videos or well anything I want! I thought it looked amazing it fits well in my case! This 5in monitor is just about the size of 120mm fans so it fits snugglely between and looks great! The reason why I wanted this particular monitor was for a few reasons, the main one being the HDMI port is on the back! I bought another LCD screen with the HDMI port on the side and I couldnt close my case because the wire stuck out too much! This one is perfect! Also, it can be taken out of it's case and painted or dipped. I saw this monitor on a reddit post where someone shared their all white colored PC builds, he exaplained how he took it out of the case and painted it white to match the rest of his set up! It looked amazing I think in the future I want to do the same. And the last reason why this monitor in particular is better than other's I've tried is because of it's viewing angles! I had tried another Raspberry Pi 5in monitor and it's viewing angles were so bad it, you couldn't see what was on the screen unless you look at it directly. This one can be viewed from every angle and it looks great! I'd highly recommend this for just about any project you might need it for! I hope this review helps someone and if you have any other questions I stream here on Amazon Live everyday! If you follow my Amazon page at Amazon.com/shop/Atarabyte it'll notify you when I go live and you can join my chat and ask me any questions you might have on building PCs, gaming, or even any specific questions about this monitor! I'd love to help!

Just add USB power and HDMI connection and it works straight out of the box. Acts just like any other monitor, just a little smaller. I'll be using it to display my CPU/GPU temperatures, etc on my PC (with an App). The monitor is solidly built with a metal casing and the controls are easy to locate and intuitive to use. A nice touch is the 1/4" tripod socket underneath - I have the monitor on a small desktop tripod. All-in-all it works really well.

I bought it to program a security system and it worked great. I would not want it any smaller or it would be hard to use the mouse . I would recommend and i would buy it again.

Ehhh. I haven't had much experience with small monitors like this, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I enjoyed the options, though I have had some odd sync issues with the composite inputs. That could be my other hardware. Well built metal enclosure. But each unit seems to have a different level of image quality. Not consistent. Wouldn't be a problem if you only needed one, but I needed 3.
