I stripped the plastic gears in my old servo motor (which is what this is). While it’s made of plastic, it did the job. Note: It comes pre-indexed. Don’t try to adjust. Learn how to set your elliptical resistance level correctly before replacing. YouTube provides videos that gets into into the ballpark.

After finding some youtube videos my son and I were able to replace the old motor with the new one. It works great - was exactly the same as the one in our Octane 37x.

I received the wrong part only because I didn’t know about different versions for different years. They happily and quickly replaced with the correct one. Works great.

Came in earlier than expected!!! Worked like a charm. Had no idea my elliptical was losing so much resistance all this time. Boy do I feel it now. Thank you!!

Made my Octane work again. Installation a little more involved than the video.
