Dress Chelsea Boots for Men & Women

This is my third pair of Blundstone's since 2018. And my first pair with a squared toe. Very impressive fit and quality. The boots were a bit stiff and tight out the box, but it did not take long for them to fit to my feet. They're very comfortable around town and look great with jeans or dressier pants. They can be a bit speedy, but they are worth every penny in my opinion.

Great quality boots. I’m several years in in the second pair. They last about a decade with heavy wear. Versatile boot, can be dressed up if needed. Prefer this squared off style to the standard rounded toe model.

I work using chemicals a lot. My work boots usually last only 1 year and they look start terrible after 6 months! I’ve had these several months now (since Sept ‘24) and bought them based on a workmate’s recommendation. They have been very comfortable. The 2 loops help you put them on because the opening is narrow so they are not the type that’s easy to slip into. You need both hands in my opinion and need good balance if you put them on standing or else you need to sit down. As soon as I got them I thought they were too nice for my work and that I would tear them up. So I put Neetsfoot oil on them and I recommend you do the same just to improve its waterproofing . But they have held up quite well. They still look good. I do wipe them with a microfiber weekly and have reapplied the neatsfoot oil. They are very easy to clean as they have no laces and the leather is smooth. Very good (not superb) slip resistance. I’ve used them in the snow and have not slipped but if the snow is deep I usually switch into a better snow boot. No problems in the rain. I would definitely buy them again. I think their being nicer than my past work boots has helped me take better care of them. I’ve received comments from workmates that my work boots are very nice. I bought these for $137. Not cheap, but with care I think they will last me 2-3 years.

Just received these boots yesterday. I was concerned in purchasing them without trying on, but am very glad I did. When first putting the boots in, you definitely have to use the tabs to get your feet into the boots as the top of the boot is tight. I believe it will just take a little time with wearing them to make that easier. Once in, they feel great. The toe area is wise and very comfortable. Even though I did not order wide, they are wide enough (I need a wide shoe) and feel great. For someone who needs a narrow shoe, you may want to order narrow. The boots look great and feel wonderful. I highly recommend.

These boots are amazing but they are hard for us Americans to buy bc of the sizing. For reference: I am a Women’s size 7 US, which equates to a size 4 AU. The size 4 fit but I worried about adding thicker socks so these are going back. I am instead going with a size 4.5, which would be a women’s size 7.5 US. They fit and feel roomier in the toe box. Having said all that, the boots are super comfortable. There is a break in period that has nothing to do with their comfort. Those little pull tabs on the boots are completely necessary to get these boots on your feet. In fact, the first several times you put these boots on, you prob wouldn’t be able to get them on w/o the tabs and it will still be a bit of a wrestling match. They do seem to break in fairly quickly - I can tell quite a difference getting them on after only a couple quick wearings. They are amazingly comfortable, tho not at all cushy. These are my first pair and I’ll prob ‘need’ a black pair, as well as these brown ones!!

So, these boots seem indestructible. I bought them for a trip and to replace some 10 year old Doc Marten chelsea boots that had holes in them. I wore them for a couple of weeks before the trip to break them in, and they seemed to lack arch support and be very tight on the top of my foot, especially instep/ankle. There was plenty of room in the toe box, which was really comfortable. I tried adding an insole for arch support. Obviously, that helped but made the instep tighter. I took the boots to a cobbler to stretch them. He did. I went on the trip. Not only did I take the insoles out almost every single day I wore them, but the instep was still rubbing even without the insole and worst of all when sitting. I get that people love Blundstones, but I think they aren't made for my foot shape. I'll keep trying to get them broken in, but they're expensive for something that causes pain.

I bought a 9.5 but they feel like a size 10. I saw by the reviews that they run large and yes they do but they look small. I bought large because I need extra room on the toe box, I have a high instead, and I needed an insole for arch support. The insole that comes with these are completely flat so with my Padag insole, which fit in there perfectly, I had comfort and did not compromise on the space. Now, I have a ferfect boot and I still have space left for a thick sock. This is my second week breaking them in, no problems yet, but they need more wear to make them less stiff. Perfect for Chicago weather!
