I originally gave this a 1, stating that it did not work right out of the box. Turned out to be workman error, didn't realize he'd tripped a GFI switch. Nice light!

This is a good, bright, light that is fairly easy to install. It is not wafer thin, but a little thicker - about two inches or so. It has two spring-loaded arms that hold the light fixture in place, without the need to attach to a stud. It has a gasket around the light fixture for a tight seal. You can set the temperature tone of the light - from bright white to a warm yellowish tone. You have to set the desired tone before installation since the switch is inside the wiring box. The wiring box is pretty small, so it is no problem pushing that up through the ceiling and finding an area out of the way. You can direct the light slightly. It has minimal affect on the light direction. This works for the one instance that I wanted it for since I wanted a light that I could direct slightly. But typically, I do prefer the wafer-thin lights.

This worked perfectly to replace my directional over-the fireplace light when the old bulb burnt out. Rather than replace the bult, I decided to go with a replacement all-in-one and I was able to retro-fit this into my existing can easily. This is a nice improvement over the old and has a nice clean up-to-date look.

I purchased the LED Light, and I couldn't be happier. The installation was straightforward with the included J-Box, making it easy to set up even for someone without much experience. Despite its slim design, the light is incredibly bright at 1100 LM, equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb, but it only consumes 15W, making it very energy-efficient.
