I recently purchased this product for my 9 month old son who started showing symptoms of eczema at 8 months a day or 2 after i tried to give up breastfeeding & introduced formula. After only 2 bottles of formula over 2 days he began to experience some kind of reaction an itchy red rash on his forehead that spread to scalp cheeks & neck, and (along with dry skin over his whole body.) with every day it just got worse & worse very dry & weeping and bleeding from the scratching. No matter how many creams or how short I cut his nails it still didn’t seem to help. I tried using cotton socks as mittens which was better than his bare nails but was still too abrasive and was still managing to irritate the sore skin. I was at my wits end after weeks of sleepless nights and a very irritated tired baby.i even tried swaddling didn’t go so well!. searching for a cure remedy i researched eczema clothing and came across scratch sleeves company and thought i have nothing to loose and ordered a pack. placed the order on a Friday morning & it came promptly on Monday morning quicker than i expected. Pros -Quick delivery -Silk mitts let child get a little relief from scratching motion but reduces irritation & abrasion to the skin -They don’t restrict movement baby still has freedom to play & pick things up -They don’t fall off like mitts & socks (I put them under clothing so no chance of him taking them off) -Room to grow very roomy was tempted to buy bigger size my son is quite average for his age but quite roomy -no ore bloody sheets -reduces deep scratches& scars Cons no real cons -perhaps for price could have been a pack of 2 (I bought another one as it did get rather grubby from all the greasy lotions and potions & along with an active 9 month old. so that allows me to throw one in the wash when the others in use, could probably do with one for everyday of the week.I can say it has helped a lot so would recommend trying it. its not a cure but its a helpful solution to help protect your child’s poor skin from further damage.

amazing products , the sleeves stay on , never came off, stopped the baby scratching her face, we had to wrap her arms to stop her scratching her face until started using those sleeves. now she wear the sleeves inside her sleeping bag, she could still grab her bunnies and have a full night good sleep. order was made on the 10th March, and arrived 3rd April. contacted the seller 10 days later, replacement was sent 17 days after the order was made.

These sleeves are a lifesaver. Our daughter would continually pull her mittens off and scratch her face, she can no longer do that with these sleeves. Highly recommended.

Wish I’d bought this sooner! It stops my baby scratching in his sleep and he doesn’t put up a fight or try to take it off. Nice cotton sleeves with reinforced silk hands. We bought 9-12 months for my 8 month old so he has room to grow

We have these in nearly every size now! They are the best product we have found for keeping our child's eczema under control. They are well made and comfortable and I will never use anything else! We have tried all kinds of silk clothing but these stop the night scratching which is was the main problem. Bear in mind they count as 1 layer when dressing them in pyjamas, we use them with short sleeve tops. The customer service is also excellent and delivery is fast. No problems in the washing machine and hang dried. We use soap nuts to wash and they still come out super soft without any fabric softener.

Does the job perfectly! Allows my daughter to itch her eczema without damaging her skin which has helped her eczema to heal a bit. Soft fabric and a perfect fit. It doesn't bother her at all when she is wearing them and straight away she carried on playing and picking up her beaker and toys etc, in fact she enjoys clapping when we put them on. They came quicker then expected even to the Channel Islands. I have even bought a second pair for when these are in the wash. Made a huge difference to how she sleeps as she doesn't tear her skin as she scratches in her sleep. A great product.

They are brilliant for my boy, he has bad eczema and have the wrap out fits from the hospital which he wears at night, but when they are in the wash and during the day he wears these scratch sleeves. His whole body does not need to be covered as his hands are so that stops the scratching and bleeding. Fabulous. Recommended to everyone and will get more as he gets older.

Unsere Tochter hat Neurodermitis und kratzt sich die ganze Nacht am Kopf. Als sie mit 8 Monaten clever genug war die Handschuhe und Fäustlinge auszuziehen bräuchten wir schnell eine andere Lösung und sind auf ScratchSleeves gestoßen. Und es ist einfach perfekt! Unsere Tochter kann sich nicht mehr blutig kratzen, es ist leicht, lässt sich auch mal schnell per Hand waschen und trocknet schnell sodas man eigentlich kein Wechselpaar braucht und es sitzt zumindest wenn das Kind in einem Schlafsack schläft optimal und ist auch im Sommer angenehm leicht und nicht zu warm. Sehr gut verarbeitet und genäht und auch nach mehrmaligem waschen auch bei 60 ° und scheuern durch die kleine alles noch Tiptop. Fällt ein kleines bisschen größer aus als angegeben, zumindest bei uns. Danke für diese simple aber geniale Erfindung !

It covers my child's hands amd deters them from sucking their fingers, which is why we bought it. However, the material must be poor quality because the body part keeps stretching. I've had to sow it in twice now amd it still doesn't fit properly like it did when we first bought it.

Ich Frage mich, warum ich den Bolero nicht schon eher gekauft habe. Das abendliche Kratzen ist zwar nicht weg aber die Folgen sind nicht mehr so schlimm. Material und Verarbeitung wirken sehr hochwertig. Der Bolero sieht immer noch aus wie neu, obwohl er mittlerweile schon öfter gewaschen wurde und auch schon im Wäschetrockner war Mein Sohn hat den Bolero von Anfang an akzeptiert. Er kann damit sogar in gewissem Umfang greifen und Sachen halten, was ich nicht erwartet hätte. Sobald er herausgewachsen ist, werde ich direkt die nächste Größe bestellen.
