Extreme Tire Shine Gel, Tire Shine for Restoring Color and Tire Protection, 18 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)

So , I've "been around for a while" and presently have three vehicles --- 2006 Corvette , 2010 F-150 and a 2019 Toyota C-HR . This products works fine for its intent regarding tires , HOWEVER , I have FINALLY found the best product for treating all of the textured vinyl exterior (and interior) trim . I tried EVERYTHING to get the old wax that mistakenly was on there , the haze from the weather , and on and on . THIS PRODUCT is king . I've had it on all three vehicles for six weeks now and it's still beading up like no tomorrow . 2010 F-150 : Did the vinyl top rail around the bed . Fifteen years old --- and it looks great . "Overwax on the CH-R lower trim and bumpers --- gone . Just use a small piece of terrycloth (for scrubbing old wax or other residues) . You won't be disappointed .

Hey everyone, Mike Jones here again with another quick and concise Amazon review. So up today we have the Armor All 77960 Extreme Tire Shine Gel. This gel is some of the best tire shine I have ever used with few exceptions. The kit comes with the gel and the applicator and is as simple to use as it gets. It puts the gel on the tire... thats about it. The gel goes a long way and it is easy to overuse it. About an hour after applying it to your tires you will see it start to even out and really shine. I have used this about 10 times on my low profile 19" tires and I still have about half a bottle left. Good enough for about a years worth of use. The only downside to this stuff is it always seems to spray off into my wheel wells. It is easy to wipe up but even after applying it and letting it sit for 2 days, it still sprayed some on all 4 wheel wells once I drove it. The pros: Good price, easy to use, great shine, holds up for over 2 weeks with a decent high-gloss shine. The cons: The applicator is wonky, they tell you to put the gel into the groove but that didn't work well for me. I just put it on the pad itself and it worked fine. I also wasn't happy with the amount that sprayed off into the wheel well but that comes with the territory I guess. The overall: This product works as intended and provides a good shine. This was a dream to use at first. No mess, a long lasting shine, and the gel consistency let me apply it exactly where I wanted it to go without it getting on my rims or elsewhere. But after a few months, the gel seemed to start breaking down and separating into a watery liquid. I stored it inside, so it wasn't exposed to any extreme temperatures. Even after attempting to shake up the bottle to mix it back up, it's still a watery mess. Such a disappointment. I thought for sure a brand that has been around for decades would have a better quality product.

This does not sling off to your paint. I have washed my vehicle several times since I applied this. My tires still look good. I haven't reapplied yet. Not like the first day, but nice. I used this on the interior vinyl, dash and doors. No sticky residue. Use this stuff, it works. I will buy this again.

Works very well. PRO TIP #1 : When using on heavily sold wheels such as brake dust, road grime or any combination thereof, Spray it on, wait a few seconds, use a SOFT Bristle brush and the results are very nice. Rinse and repeat as needed. PRO TIP #2 : If using on polished aluminum, DO NOT LET IT SIT ON THE ALUMINUM AS IT WILL LEAVE BURN MARKS. Spray it on, use an old Terry Cloth towel and lightly wipe then rinse. If dulling, streaks or water runs appear, use an Aluminum polish and it should look great.

Really excellent product! Had it on a week and my alloys are looking as clean as when I washed them.

It does have that cheap shine, but that goes off in a day and you will be left with a nice matte finish. I like how subtle this product is, it doesn't have an odour as well. The tyres do shine, but post a few days they don't have that sparkle (which I don't prefer any how) if you want a classy matte shine after a day or two post application, this is your product. I also used a part of it on the exterior plastic which takes the most hit weather wise and they look good. Make sure to clean your car completely, rinse it, shampoo it, let it sit, wash it, rub your tyres well with the shampoo, use iron degreaser if you have to, and then rinse it with a pressure wash. Post drying the car, use this product on the tyres and some hard plastic which takes the beating from the road the most(the side skirts) use the foam applicator wisely and don't go crazy while squishing the product, it's a gel-liquid(somewhere in between) .
