I buy these lights for my hedgehog. They worked pretty well. They were recommended to me. They were easy to put in the light bulb holder you’re talking about the last time I bought these the first lasted at least six months. For having no light just heat. Highly recommend for whatever animal you have.

I use these lights on colder nights for my salcata tortoise and it keeps the enclosure nice a warm over night. No issues so far after a few months of constant use. The 2 pack for the price is a good deal compared to the local pet stores as well

Very good product

I love the Repti Zoo Ceramic heat lamp. It doesn't have any light to it, so my red legged tortoise isn't distracted from his sleep. It doesn't glow red or blue and has been keeping the temperature in her home around 80 degrees so far. I have the 150 watt bulb. It gets hot, of course, but has not shown any signs of overheating. I also have a Repti Zoo thermostat which is set to 83 degrees, so it's not supposed to get any hotter than that.

Great bulb and it does get incredibly hot so make sure you have a thermostat.

I got super tired of replacing infrared bulbs over and over and over and over so I got this. It's keeping the temperature at a solid constant and it's shutting off when I need it to. I'm not having any problems reaching temperatures for my picky Kenyan sand boa and it doesn't interfere with the cool side or the basking. I'm happy. Snake is happy. That's really it.

We use these for a ball python and a beardie. They’re still going strong after 6 months of continuous use. It keeps the tanks at 75-80 overnight on the hot side without the basking bulb and 90 with the basking bulb. Much cheaper than buying them locally. We plan on buying more!
