Works great.

My fork was too narrow. Used a grinder. Removed about 2mm for a good fit. No problems with this wheel motor kit.

My husband used this to turn an adult trike into electric for his elderly father. The front wheel hub assembly fit our bike perfectly and was easy to install. All wiring was self explanatory for us, but he has lots of electrical experience. He still believes it would be simple for others as well. The battery we purchased was too large to go into the frame so we wid have to extend the wiring for that to where we installed it. It was easy to connect. Once connected everything has worked as expected. The digital ready out is brightly lit and easy to see. It is in Km. There is probably a way to change it to miles, but we haven't tried yet. The motor gets us up to around 34km/h which is more than enough for my father in law. Our trike is heavy so I am sure on a regular bicycle it would go faster.

My speed throttle is broken can I get a replacement

Honestly, I am very displeased with this conversion kit. The main complaint is that the controller appears to have been designed for a scooter, not an e-bike. There are 5 NON-ADJUSTABLE pedal assist levels. Level #1 is extremely slow at about 3 mph. The second level brings the bike to about 6 ot 7 mph - not bad but a little slow for the average biker. The third level increases the speed to 12 mph which is faster than the casual rider usually wants to pedal. The 4th and 5th levels are about 17 and 22 mph. Plus, when you stop pedaling, the speedometer and odometer stop functioning. It just reads zero no matter how fast you are going. So there is no way to track your actual distance traveled. This is extremely annoying. In addition, the controller plugs are a mix of old style and newer style connections, which makes it next to impossible to find a replacement controller to fix all the built in deficienies of the original. The motor seems to work fine, although a little noisy when under power. The display is basic but usable. The light, hand brakes and throttle are low-end units as expected with this type of kit, but all functional. I will add that if you just want to build a bike and use the throttle 90% of the time, this kit might be acceptable. If you want to actually pedal with a little assist, I would look elsewhere.

Easy to install on your bike, perfect! The LCD display lets me see clearly. Although there is no battery and charger, it is not worth mentioning in front of this perfect wheel. I will buy it again for my good friend, I am sure he will like it very much!
