Savinelli Pipes Arcobaleno 606 KS Bent Billiard - Polished & Colorful Handmade Wood Briar Pipe From Italy, 6mm (Blue)

While pipes are often preference driven, I find it hard to imagine anyone not liking this Savinelli. It's a beautiful pipe. The pictures do it justice! I've used it for a couple months now, traveling and at home, and have had no issues with wear on the color. I've had other pipes where the coloring inside the bowl comes off during the first few smokes, but I haven't found that to be the case with this one. The balsa wood insert seems to do well, too. It helps keep it a dry smoke without compromising the draw. PROS- Beautiful design. It looks wonderful on a mantle or in your hands! -Well made. So far, it's been a durable pipe that had lost none of its beauty. -The balsa wood insert. Keeps the smoke dry. This pipe comes with three inserts, but savinelli, and off brands, do sell large packages of them. There are cheap ones out there if you look hard enough. CONS- Price. It's an expensive pipe. You're paying for the name. That being said, you get a good pipe with the name. If you're in the market for a good pipe, I highly recommend this one!

This is the nicest pipe I've ever owned, full disclosure it's also the most expensive one I've ever bought as well. It smokes great, balsa filters are neat, they do get dirty but who knows how much they actually filter? Pretty pipe, as another user said finish seems to be losing it "gloss" but I'm sure I could oil it if I really cared. I'mm a new Savinelli fan. *UPDATE* The finish is really wearing off, the nice blue is coming off and you can see the natural brown color coming through. Still like the pipe but I probably will stick to natural colors in the future, which is a bummer because it was really beautiful when it was new. It was different than all the brown pipes but unfortunately it doesn't hold up. I always keep it in a leather case, so it's not being abused, just used. If I knew what they used to color it I would try to stain it.

This is a great pipe. It uses balsa wood filters that really help filter out bad particles.

The pipe is great. I love it. The Blue is very dark though. You can barely tell it's blue, it looks closer to black.

Husband loves it

I have been smoking pipes for a while now- and this is the single best pipe I have ever owned. Has a great draw, bite, and bowl size. Well made and very attractive. Will have this one for many years.

The balsa wood filter makes for flavorful dry smoke. No gurgling, wet draws or tongue bite. Feels good in the hand and the mouthpiece is very comfortable. Beautiful craftsmanship, great smoking experience. My pipe came with the adapter to smoke filterless, but only had one balsa filter. I recommend buying a pack of the balsa filters with this pipe.

A fantastic pipe that is easy to maintain. Keeping the tobacco lit and burning optimally (not too hot) is a learned skill in pipe smoking- but I found this pipe to be much easier to manage than others in my collection. Highly recommended, especially for beginners looking to get a first "serious" pipe.

Ho deciso di acquistare una pipa come regalo per il mio compagno, ma purtroppo non era disponibile quella desiderata, allora sono stata prontamente contattata dal venditore il quale mi ha dato una buonissima alternativa. Non me ne intendo di pipe, ma devo dire che il prodotto si presenta benissimo senza alcuna imperfezione visibile. Mi sento di consigliare il prodotto e il venditore.
