Good quality screen for the money.
I'm only a day into this monitor and can't speak for its longevity or how long before I get tired of it but so far Im satisfied for what it is, a basic no frills monitor. Screen is bright and I've been slowly reducing the brightness and contrast to adjust for my eye comfort. Fonts are sharp for a 27" 1080p, there is a sharpness adjustment that works well. I think a 27 inch is the biggest I would go with this type of resolution. Colors are nice and bright. I've read reviews where there is lots of movement on the panel and it will move (sort of springy) if touched but when placed on a solid or semi solid surface there's nothing to worry about. It is not frame-less but I don't even notice the frame when looking at the screen. In a world of PC's and monitors that most seem to be "game" oriented, this is a very nice basic monitor and for the money, even better.

This monitor... if you love working on spreadsheets, writing and or reading...
Coming from a 22-inch HP 1080p monitor which has served me for 11 years, the reason why this 27-inch screen is $97.00 becomes apparently clear. This is a 27-inch 1080p monitor so the resolution compared to a 22-inch 1080p monitor is night and day. While clarity, colors and contrast levels are more accurate on the 22-inch monitor, this 27-inch monitor highlights weaknesses as a result of physics. Pixels are more dense on a 22-inch 1080p panel than on a 27-inch panel. With this monitor (27-inch), picture quality and colors are washed out, hard to reset, contrast setting isn't an option and pixelation is quite apparent compared to the 22-inch 1080p panel i currently have. For me, the monitor is used for work... writing and reading and watching videos primarily for information gathering and not video clarity or picture quality. The monitor is well built, has a slow refresh rate, and is of adequate size for the office. If you need a monitor for work or school... this one will do. If you are a gamer, artist, content creator who wants to utilize the full potential of your graphics card, this monitor is not for you. Value for money? well... if you need a monitor for office and school? This one will do. Gamer? ...look elsewhere, get at least a 1440p or better panel because this one will make you vomit especially if you are well adapted to higher refresh rates, accurate color representation and good picture quality. Why 5-stars? For my purpose, this monitor meets what i need for work and secondly, Amazon delivered a 27-inch monitor without breaking it... a rarity for Amazon.

promising monitor not going to lie
it is a pretty good monitor and worth its price but the base of the stand is kind of large but works well overall. it has 2 different hdmi ports so that is good. and i bought another because its permormance was valid and trustworthy. it also has very good colors.

Good as an office monitor
Is it perfect? No. Would I recommend it for gaming? No. But for the price I paid (Used - Like New), this is a great work desk monitor. The screen is crisp and bright, build quality seems solid. It does not come with VESA screws, so you'll need to pick some up if you're mounting it. Oddly the manual says maximum 14 mm M4 screws for the VESA mount holes, but the actual maximum depth seems to be around 10 mm. I picked up some 4mm-0.70 x 10mm Phillips Truss Machine Screws from the hardware store and they are holding it just fine. As others have mentioned, the built-in speakers are pretty bad, so you'll want to get your audio output from something else. There is an AUX output on the back if needed.

It's a little clunky because the buttons aren't marked, but this is so worth it
I'm currently got my Chromebook hooked up to it and you do have to learn how to doggle through the unmarked buttons. Right to left I believe they go one through six or one through five we have to toggle or toggle between HDMI and vga. Once you figure that out, if you play audio on the TV by itself, it doesn't sound so good. If you play the audio from a computer or Chromebook hooked up to the tv, I can't explain how but it sounds incredible. It's like I added a 27-inch screen to my chromebook. It's not completely plug and play cuz you still have to press buttons on the Chromebook and that's alternate plus one of the top buttons usually the fifth button over from the left on top you got to press those two together. As far as the TV the button on the far right in is the power button. That only needs to be pressed once because once it receives a signal it turns itself on. And that is a plus in the long run. Hooking up a Playstation 2 you got to jump through a few more hoops but it can be done as well if you use the VGA serial connector. But, to use that, you must first hook up something with HDMI so you can rotate the screen over to vga. you better have the PlayStation on when you do this because it will revert to HDMI within 5 seconds if it does not receive a signal from the VGA. You got to have that PlayStation 2 up and running/ updatede PS2 fix! Get the PS2 HDMI converter with the power for USB... works better than the RCA cables :)

Great For The Value
The monitor is great for the price point. I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular considering it is not a 4/5k monitor. If you need a monitor for standard computer work this will fit your needs. What the monitor exceeds at is it refresh rate when it comes to gaming. I moved my PS4 into my bedroom because I work from home, but I’m going to keep it in my room because the quality of gaming on this is where it excels. The only two down sides I have is build quality and sound. It’s pretty flimsy, but for less than $150 that’s expected. The real and only issue I have with this monitor is the speakers. They lack depth and leave you wanting more. You will definitely need to buy external speakers or use headphones. Overall I would purchase this product again if I needed a second display or replacement.

Good Monitor but short lifespan.
Sceptre 27-Inch FHD LED Gaming Monitor 75Hz 2X HDMI. I liked this monitor but beware it does not last long. I have bought this for just two years and the backlight is failing.
