This item is for my wife she needs a hip replacement. This helps with lifting her leg when I am not available. Was suggested on you tube video. It def helps as needed. It is bendable and straight (rigid) as required for lifting. I was unsure how it would be due to past reviews but it does work for what it is intended Im not sure what other people did with it, It helps with getting in bed from a seated position as well as to get backwards farther in recliner. It is a good weight not heavy or awkward . Can be bended to put on walker handle to have withing arms reach. I cant believe it was under $10 The straps are comfortable and hands dont slip off when using. we thought the strap might have been too long as she is only 5'4 but it is a good size bc depending on what it is needed for ( moving from a sitting to up on bed, or from laying to up more in bed ) she can used the multiple Straps(handles ) as needed to get a better grip. Only wish would have known how helped it would have been before now.

A lifesaver after knee surgery! This strap was perfect for helping me lift my leg in and out of the car, on and off of the bed, and even to help me do some of my stretches after having total knee replacement surgery. The length of the strap has enough stability to keep it straight while the foot strap is plenty big enough for me to easily get my foot inside of, even with a shoe on. I’m pleased with the quality and appreciate the foam grips which help keep the strap from digging into your hand. As one who reads all of the reviews on numerous products before I choose which one to purchase…I highly recommend this product.

I used this strap in bed to help me lift my weaker right leg in the bed during the night to move it around for comfort and to enable me to pull my leg up and do exercises with it. It was wonderful, but the consistency of the strap or the dyes in the fabric made the calf of my leg ache, so I stopped keeping it around my leg at night, and will air the strap away from me to see if more time out of the package will help my leg not ache. Perhaps airing it more will not cause any more reaction. It should prove a great help for my handicapped leg.

Recovering from hip replacement surgery, this leg lifter is perfect for lifting my affected leg to assist in getting in and out of bed. It's rigid, strong design is exactly what's needed to easily put my foot into the leg lifter and maneuver my leg, no flopping around to place my foot in it. Well worth the 10 bucks and helps tremendously while recovering from surgery...or any leg mobility issues.

A great tool for after a hip or knee replacement surgery! This one tool has been a lifesaver to have. I have a regular PT strap for exercise, which works great for exercise in general. But this one is ideal post-surgery. There are 3 looped straps set in increments coming from the main strap which gives you options where to place your hand for the best lift. The most important feature to me is the wide, padded foot stirrup which stays open while you insert your foot into it. No fumbling to get your foot into it. It’s a game-changer compared to the regular PT strap, where you have to manually open the stirrup each time. (Which is impossible since you can’t bend over to grasp it with your hands following hip replacement surgery.) I leave it on my foot when I’m sitting in my recliner so I can have it ready to assist any time I need to lift my foot, including for exercise. I had no idea which length to purchase, but the one I settled on (39”) works perfect. I’m 5’6” tall. The other feature I like is the thin aluminum piece inside the nylon webbing. It’s bendable, yet sturdy. It easily folds up and comes with a nylon pouch to keep it in, so I can easily carry anywhere. I plan to order a 2nd one to keep in the car.
