Plasterboard fixings
Excellent product, just the job

Really useful, great grip but BE CAREFUL!
I saw these recently on a YouTube video and they were just the thing I was looking for. It’s a nice touch that they can ‘self-drill’ through the plasterboard but be careful about pushing too hard as the entire thing can shoot through and disappear if you aren’t careful. Also, when screwing in the bolt, it can take a while to bite and can require a little bit of pressure but be careful not to apply too much as this can forced the body of the item away from the plasterboard and to fall down into the cavity (the plastic frame on this particular Corefix was faulty and allowed the body to detach. I would still buy this without hesitation, but attention is required when fitting them. It’d be nice if there were a bit cheaper though. EDIT: This is the sixth pack of these that I have bought, and whilst when they work they are brilliant, they are far too flimsily built, and no matter how careful you are, the failure rate on these is at least 20% where the plastic housing just breaks or detaches in the wll and the metal grips just fall off. Come on Corefix, you charge enough for these things, stop making them so brittle and pull yourselves together.

Easy to fit
I have a flat with plasterboard walls, Needed a TV on the wall so the waight of TV had to be sure that I got a sturdy strong sport, these can hold a lot of weight easy to fit and reassured that they do the job for piece of mind, They totally worth the mony

No good for thick insulated plasterboard
Bit disappointed. Says it works ok insulated plasterboard but the insulation would have to be soo thin for this to work that I don’t even think they do insulation this thin. No reference anywhere on product or description of the wall thickness ( only max bracket thickness) not suitable for any plasterboard with more than 20mm insulation as the wings won’t open and they need to open before you can start to screw in. Similar products the wings open as you screw but these need to be fully open.

Great for plasterboard work

Very disappointing
Delivery was supposed to have 8 fixings in it. In summary, there were only 7 of which, 3 were in the proper condition, 2 had clearly been used before and 2 were in pieces and totally unusable. Very poor and disappointing.

There are better products out there
Wasn't a huge fan of these. They may be sturdy once, or if, you can get them in the cavity but I eventually gave up and bought a much cheaper and more simple alternative that holds my towel rail on the wall with ease.

Pay attention to bit to use . They are a torx not philips. Ruined one by not noticing what style bit to use. First time using this style

The plastic screw driver connection is junk. Would not even last long enough to go thru 1/4 sheet rock. Used a hand driven and still stripped out before it would drill in. Had to use plyers to complete the 2 i started. 1 of the 2, the screw would not even start. Ended up pushing the whole thing thru, and using a moley.

I like them but, wish screws came in black, and you cannot use with a drill; must be hand screw driver like the instructions say.

Put a big hole in my wall and falls through on the other side. Expensive and useless.
