Good gate.
I looked at all kinds of gates and this one met my needs really well. It's sturdy, easy to install, easy to use and has an amazing roll ability that doesn't wear out easy. The material of the gate is nice and actually see through which is cool, and very functional and can hold up a small margin of weight and not fold in from the top. I bought this for my cat who was 17 years old and just set in her old age and did not try to climb or go under. With that said, the bottom has a sturdy "bar" to discourage going under it. I feel it would hold ok against other cats. The kit did include an option to add a tie down for the middle but wasn't need for us. The lock and unlock features of the gate was nice. You could hear when it caught to lock, letting you know it was in locked mode. Overall a great buy!

Great!
Use this to keep our kid in the garage. Works way better than the bug net we had up previously. Very easy to use and install. Locks easily and is very sturdy. The size is exactly what we needed to close off the garage completely.

Great product
This is a great product. Not as sturdy as I would like but it definitely does the job. My dog would not jump it or even try to come through it. It was easy to install, if you follow th directions. It is secure and safe to use. Supplies great dog protection. It retracts with ease.

Great for new puppies
This has been great with a new puppy. I love the fact that when I don’t need it I can just retract it and it takes up such a small footprint. I also appreciate the locking feature so our puppy can’t just push through the gate because she sure did try. This was so easy to set up and use. I would highly recommend this.

ONLY COMPLAINT, too fat of wall connector posts. Other than that, 100% works
I bought this so I could go out and get mail, without worrying about my dogs escaping. Originally, like most people, I was using a baby gate, which is SUPER ANNOYING, as most people will know. Sometimes you can step over it, but most of the times you have to undo it, re-set it, and NO THANK YOU. One dog, my Trapper, a Foxhound/Catahoula is a CHARGER... Zelda the Dutch/Lab, being a female, is more graceful and poised in her attempt to escape. New dog also clearly a hound of some sort and the biggest (formers being 22in, 25in, respectively) at 27/28in also decided to charge at the gate that I forgot to put in "LOCK" position. Both Max and Trapper failed to bust through even when trying to climb under it. They're big 70+LB dogs, with only Trapper being slightly fat. So it 100% works. The only FAILINGS is that the plastic piece that connects to the house is RATHER CHUNKY and gets in the way of closing my door. Didn't realize that was going to be an issue. I can close the door but it's scratching it, and there wasn't enough mounting space really to put it anywhere else. So, if you're doing this INSIDE a door frame, make sure your interior door frame is at least 2-2.5in deep. The reality is, those mounting hardware, don't need to be that bulky. They could easily be slimmed down to about 1.5in without compromising strength or anchoring. I also decided to use longer 3in screws for my interior door frame install since I wanted the added strength and security of them, since if again 140+lbs try to bum rush the screen, wanted it not to get pulled out by the weak screws they give you. There is a lot to love about this system: 1) It is very durable and quality feeling. Was easy to install only had issues with mounting the "Catches", that the gate latches onto. I went with an OPPOSING method, Where one catch faces outwards and the other inwards, since I have a very clever dog who could best the system if they faced the same direction. I have the outwards one at the top, and inwards at the bottom. Now, when installing it yourself, I recommend positioning the catch to be both inwards if you want to go that route. THOUGH with that said, the catches DO TECHNICALLY have a "LOCKING" mechanism, where it's made to snap around the handle to secure it even more. On my old house, the door frame ain't the strongest, hence the need to go with 3in screws to actually screw into the true DOOR frame and not the decorative exposed frame. I honestly didn't have faith in this system give Trapper's intelligence, though, the new dog provides a new challenge. Max is a jumper and he jumps my baby gate I have right now. It's super annoying and cool of him. This was kind of proof of concept, and the proof is, it works well. Luckily this company thinks of owners like us with jumping giants, and sells taller options. I 100% recommend this, this is so much better than gates, even the ones with the doors. Since I move a lot of stuff in my house constantly, bins, tables, chairs, large items, etc... so having to fight with a baby gate or the narrow opening of a door-gate system, is getting tiresome. This takes up like 3in of door space when all folded up, which is kind of a lot but easy to maneuver around and I can still get couches out without issue. The fact that it bested both charging males, sold me, and I'm literally about to buy like 10 more.

Perfect gate!
This gate is AMAZING! We are using it to cover our TV stand which holds all of our gaming consoles and controllers. It goes up nice and high so our little one cant reach over it. Very sturdy and does the job, much better than a traditional plastic gate and it's nice and long.

Great product for the price
This product was a life saver for my baby and lil fur baby making both safe from each other. Easy to operate. The lock has two functions and both work great. Retractability is good with no issues.

Cool gate, not quite sturdy enough
We thought this was a pretty cool idea for a dog gate. My husband mounted it to the wall with extra long screws & a couple of wood blocks to match up our baseboard. The material of the gate itself is kinda flimsy, even when it’s locked. So my daughter’s 60lb dog just barrels underneath it. And this last escape, he snapped one of the plastic hooks off. Pieces of the hook are still securely attached to the wall, it’s not that the screws gave way. Not sure what material I wish these were made out of, just wish they were stronger to withstand some force. So, I’m not sure this will work for everyone’s pet.
