Learning Resources Jumbo Insects

Loved the size of these insects, very robust and excited my 2 and a half year grandsons, very bright colours

Fun play items for children and the larger size is great for little hands. Great set for learning about the world through play. The butterfly is a little more delicate than the other insects due to way wings are attached.

I really like the Jumbo size and own a few different sets. I rated this 3 star because I was really disappointed with the butterfly - it broke in my hands as soon as i took it out of its wrapping. The plastic is too brittle and snaps at the base of the wing where it attaches to the body. Apart from that, the other insects are great ... and still in one piece!

The butterfly wings broke within 5 minutes of play

I have given 3 stars as none of mine are broken like others have said but these do not live up to the expectations of other Learning Resources Jumbo sets. They are smaller than i had hoped, and more fragile. They do not ooze that chunky robust appearance like other sets. I felt like I had been ripped off, I even started to look for signs that they were fake - all i found is that most of my other sets have 'Learning Resources' stamped on the underneath. These do not. They have 'Made in Vietnam'. I honestly would say that these are not worth the money, buy others cheaper. I have the pets, farm animals, jungle animals and dinosaurs which are fabulous sets, this one is a let down. Also the box was all damaged and a very large unmoveable sticker stuck all over it, if these were bought as a gift theyd have been going straight back for that reason alone.

Unfortunately two of the insects were broken. The others are fine and the quality is really good.

I have a few of the Jumbo Learning Resources sets for the children. Sadly this is not the best. The Buterfly wings cracked off as soon as I got them out of the box. The plastic/rubber has no give at all, but just enough to become damaged as soon as a small person tried to flap her wings. Not the best, We still love the farm set of jumbo animals the best, but wouldn't bother with this set. There are much better rubber sets of creatures on the market.

Usually, we love the Jumbo range from Learning Resources. But this one is a disappointment. At the first play, the butterfly wing broke off.
