Very sharp. Handle with careful

This is my first victorinox kitchen knife. Much sharper than any of my previous one. 10cm size of this one is much more versatile than a 8cm one I had before. Due to tiny polishing lines, the blade has an iridescent look when light falls on it. It is sturdy. Thickest part is 1.4 mm, higher than the cheaper locally purchased knives. Slightly thinner than my 20 year old wood handled taiwanese one. Cutting, chopping are effortless. Unlike the cheapest 8cm victorinox, this came in a large paperbox with leaflets. If I have to complain then I would like to point out that the plastic handle, while sturdy, is very lightweight. As a person who used wooden handled knifes mostly have to adjust to it. If money is not a problem then get the wood version of the victorinox knives and go on using for 20 -30 years. The blade is excellent but the plastic, while sturdy, makes it somewhat cheaper feeling knife.

Great. The blade is very sharp. The plastic handle could be a little thicker to make it easier to hold, but it’s still functional. It’s designed for smaller hands.

Good knife

Writing this review after using it for a few years. So, I like everything about this knife. It's short, can peel fruits faster with this. The only drawback I saw with this knife is that it does not hold the sharp edge for longer. Every two or three days you have to sharpen this knife. Other wise it just doesn't work. You need to put effort to cut fruits if you don't sharpen it every two or three days. Now compare that to a high carbon steel knife that you get from the road side shop for a far cheaper price, it is able to retain its sharp edge for a lot longer compared to this knife. Although the carbon steel knife gets rusted but it still is sharper compared to this knife.

It's been around 3 years of regular use of this knife. It's amazing. It has not yet lost its sharpness and is worth the money paid. Would recommend to anyone hesitant to buy it due to its cost. Just take care of your fingers.
