Healthgenie 4012M 4.0 HP Peak Motorized Treadmill for Home Use & Fitness Enthusiast (Free Installation Assistance)

Awesome product. Was delivered on time. The installation and setup video shared on Product page is well detailed and I was able to set it up in an hour or so. It would be ideal if some representative would visit and provide a basic demo around maintenance. Coming to the product, the treadmill looks sleek, works well and has been running issue free for a month now. The customer support is responsive and courteous. I would definitely rate it as a value for money product.

Easy to install , metal is strong, easy to fold, I personally tried running speed up to 9km/hr but it can take up to 14km/hr speed. not much setting but all present which is needed for running and walking regularly. Our whole family (4 members) is using it.

Using from 15 days Abnormal sound from motor, Belt slipping while running For running it's not usable You can use it at 5 km speed that's all.

I will categorize the review in 3 parts: 1. Amazon delivery: As always, which would have been excellent from my view point had it not been for the fact that the delivery guy requested some amount for taking it to my first floor. Their point was that I did not mention in my address the 1st floor (which seemed to me weak logic) and hence they did not have any extra personnel(apart from the driver) to carry it upstairs. But mind you they could carry it till my ground floor. But then I did not argue much and had the guys paid 100 INR. Overall delivery was prompt - ordered on Thursday afternoon and received by Friday 11:30 AM. Location Kolkata. What more can one expect? Pretty good. 2. Installation and After Sales Service: The product is self installable. The video seemed pretty simple and so I tried to assemble it with my wife. Took about 45 mins - 1 hour. However after powering on the Treadmill, the lcd panel lighted up in blue with three dashes and a beeping sound and the motor failed to start. Tried to play with the controls several times - checked the manual - it seemed I had done everything correctly. But still no luck. So on Saturday I called up Healthgenie's helpline and explained them the issue. I found them to be extremely prompt and really helpful guys. After my call within the next 4 hours I received several calls from their technical department guiding me on how to formally lodge a complaint and arranging a technician to visit me. The technician also was very prompt and it took him about 30 mins to get the treadmill up and running. The issue was a defective sensor which he immediately replaced (free of charge ofcourse). Under other circumstances I would have been unhappy with the delivery of a defective item - however the promptness, seriousness and efficient handling by the entire chain of personnels made me feel quite happy actually. I called up Healthgenie first at 11:00 AM, the technician solved my problem by 5:15 PM - around 6 hours from call to fix. I would term that excellent. In short I am bowled over with Healthgenie's customer support. Thanks to them. 3. Product : Well, I did some research on this and let me share what I found so that you can build on it further. First is the weight capacity of the treadmill. Always choose a machine with a max weight capacity which is around 20-25 kg more than your body weight. The reason is that when we walk or run, the impact of our falling feet generates more force than our still body weight. So the more faster you run, the impact would be higher - the slower you walk the lesser it will be. To check this try jumping on a weighing machine - and see the value move up. The higher the jump the more will be the weight recorded. So, I being around 87 Kg, would be needing 87+20=107 kg. This treadmill had a max capacity of 110 Kg. So that serves my purpose. Second is the type of motor - AC motor or DC motor: Reportedly AC motors can run for longer durations - say for 2 hours at stretch while DC motors should be rested after every 45 minutes. This makes the TMs with AC motors expensive. For my purpose, I figured that if I use the treadmill at slower speeds of 4-6 kmph, then I should be able to stretch the time to 1 hour. And that would be sufficient for me. Hence I chose DC motor. Third - I checked with one reputed sports equipment dealers and the best price they could arrive at to support my weight with a DC motor came to around 50K. While I got this Healthgenie TM at amazon for 23K - less than half the price. True that other product looked more sophisticated - but the at the end of the day - I will be able to run equally well on this machine also and with all the basic parameters displayed such as time, distance, calories burnt, heart rate. About the product itself -> After it was been fixed, my daughter and I have been intermittently trying the machine out - it is working just as expected. Quite satisfied. However I am yet to start my fitness walk on it. But I think, this will rock. Update on 19th Feb 2023 (After more than 3.5 years): The TM has been running without any problems so far. No service calls required till date. I and my wife use it. We usually use it for walking and not running.. max speeds that we go is till 6 kmph. Initially I had tested it out in running mode at speeds upwards of 9 kmph.. but that's once or twice.. Awesome product. Hands down.. In case I need to buy another, I will definitely keep this brand as my first choice.

Good Product, but seller (Healthgeine) is not for trust, because they are not support you machine servicing. They are only sale the machine but if you call him to servicing the not respond you properly.

I bought this few months back.I used it only for one month...and later on I stopped using due to busy schedule.I started using again recently but was bit doubtful how it will work after a break period of such a long time.Its working very well. It has got various speed modes .Also if one wants to walk with only particular speed he can opt for 2,4,6 and so on.Maximum is 8 km/ he. If u want to run on the this, you need to have good shoes.But only for walking slippers Will be fine.Only thing to take care is Use lubricant as and when required and keep it in dust free area.You have got a calorie counter plus ( + or- ) sign to increase or decrease speed levels.Overall a good treadmill for home use.

Easy to assemble. Issue 1: The treadmill does not rest evenly on the floor. The rear right side leg has a gap of 1 inch from the floor. Poor frame. Appears like a seconds product. Issue 2: Treadmill operates silently for about 5-10 minutes, after that it makes a loud noise similar to a road roller. Issue 3: unable to get through to customer care

Disappointed with delivery process (should be at least 2 members of team during product delivery for such a heavy products), and not received product as promised date, it was too late, Regarding product, product is as described,can easily assembled by yourself, and performing well as off now, features are good, only disappointing thing there is no proper customer support to interact with customer care service to get support on related issues and maintenance, it would be help customers if you can provide support by providing direct contact no on product related issues and maintenance. Over all satisfied with product and quite happy with my purchase.
