We had a need to secure several interior doors and wanted a combination door handle that doesn't require a key. I was so pleased with this product that I ordered five and they have all worked consistently well. All my installations were replacements so I was able to save the original strike plate and I didn't have to use the supplied guide to make a strike plate. After figuring out that the assembly required disassembly first I went from 45 minutes on the first install to 10 minutes each. As shown in the photos the unit comes fully assembled and has back-up keys along with a strike plate if needed and templates when boring the door hole. It's very important that the door is the correct size as cited, and to adjust the screws with a manual phillips head and not an electric screwdriver in order to avoid over-screwing. The handle is made from sturdy material and it not likely to break without a lot of effort. The four AA batteries that are not included make the keys light up whenever touched making it easy to enter the combination in minimal light. Finally, it can be set up to use a finger print, which I haven't done. If I have problems doing that I'll update this review, otherwise, my opinion is that the user will be very happy with this product. Each the internal and external knobs extend three inches from the door.

I've purchased two of these and plan to but another. They're fantastic. Installation couldn't be simpler, and adding user codes and fingerprints is straightforward. The look and feel is premium, biometric sensor response is fast and accurate, and the supporting documentation is great. I really can't fault this product at all. The only improvement I would suggest, if feasible, is to reduce the sound upon unlocking--recognizing, of course, that parts must physically move and some sound is unavoidable. We use one for our master bedroom to prevent curious kids from snooping. If that's your use-case, just be aware that even in silent mode there is an audible noise from the lock operating. It's not particularly loud, but it's enough that it could potentially awaken a light sleeper if the room is otherwise silent. I would describe the sound as a mechanical "clunk" and sneeze.

These work like a charm in my airbnb! They are easy to install and easy to program/use. The guests love them. So far the battery has lasted a long time too. I like the unique shape of the handle too. Overall, a great product!

This item is awesome. So easy to install -easiest one I have ever installed. And it’s battery powered with AA batteries so no hassle with usb-c charging cords handing off the door knob. This one is slick and uses a code to gain access. Also has keys as well. Kind of wish this would have the finger print sensor as well but that would have been more money. This one is good for doors you don’t access as much. It’s nice looking and is so easy to program. You can’t wrong with this purchase.

I recently purchased my second ThorBolt, I have had one on my oldest son‘s room for a couple of years now and my younger son is coming of age so we put one on his room, whether it’s a regular interior door or french doors the set up is super simple and easy and the product is amazing, it’s got great bang for the buck. The lock is well-made and functions smoothly, I love them and would recommend them to anyone
