Amazing blackout fabric!
Great blackout fabric with great value. Nicely thin and not too heavy. I loved this fabric never stretched when seeming. And workeked so well with re-making my current curtains. Left side is withh this fabric on sunny weather. Right side is without blackout so you see how much cutting light off from windows. Happy with this product. I will buy again if I make another curtains.

Perfect, just the job
Very easy to use, and works perfectly as blackout curtain lining. Good quality too

Exactly what I wanted, but...
I bought this to use as a projector screen and, as far as I can tell, it is doing the job admirably. It blocks a lot of light out on the grey side and seems to reflect well on the white side. The finish is smooth and will not let light through. Basically it feels like a sheet of non stretchy plastic. It is easy to pull taut and staple in place. There are two caveats: The material comes folded. I ironed it and couldn't get the creases completely out. I hope they drop out with time. There was a mark on the material when I received it. I don't know if it would have come out or not as I ordered extra and I could cut that bit off.

Perfect linings for warmth and dark
These linings were absolutely perfect for lining replacement blinds I was making for my motorhome. Great quality, they block out the light completely and the thermal aspect really helps in the cold evenings to keep the heat in. Highly recommended.

Impressive at how it is for value, price range
This is definitely blackout, not one beam of light through it. Plus it does keep out drafts, cold. Then reduced a bit of noise, sound dulls it down a tad. It has lovely soft feel. Irons on hot heat well. Cuts easily, really done what I needed it to do. I absolutely recommend this material for use to block light, block cold, ot block heat. My windows in summer south west facing, temperature git to 41c, so I need blockage if that. In witlnret temperature it gets really cold, condensation etc. Now, massively reduced by this fabric. Heat staying in, in summer I will reap benefits

*Was?: Excellent as a projector screen, excellent value for money.
Thankfully this enabled me to dispose of my PVC projector screen which easily creased permanently unless great effort is expended to restore it. By comparison to PVC this blackout is excellent as a projector screen, excellent value for money. Preferable to poly-cotton-backed, this polyester-only backed is better: +Lighter at 70% the weight of poly-cotton material backed material. +Not smelly. -Unfortunately not as white as before, nor as white as the poly-cotton version. What does a PVC screen have over rubberised-white black-out cloth at £3 per metre?: Compared to £3 per metre black-out cloth: •Black out cloth looks as good as PVC: White side has a very thin coating of rubbery-matt material (a tiny fleck may flake off) which reflects light (screen gain) as well as a PVC projector screen, the grey fabric side not so effective. •No diffusion of light within the material which a bedsheet fabric does (no sub-surface-scattering). •Black out cloth is nearly light-tight/blocks about 95% of the light, no issues there. •Black out cloth is as lightweight as PVC so light enough to use clear parcel tape to stick to a painted wall or to sufficiently durable wallpaper. •Black out cloth, clear parcel tape to the wall doesn’t need a bulky floor tripod stand, nor ceiling installation etc. •Black out cloth can be put up and taken down if needed, watch the wallpaper / paint. Putting up / taking down the PVC screen tends to permanently crease PVC. •Black out cloth comes folded in a shoe box for easier transportation than PVC which to prevent creases has to come in a cardboard tube. •Black out cloth has minimal creases, as it’s slightly stretchy applying a bit of final tension with an extra bit of clear parcel tape at the edges reduces any creases to a low-to-no crease level, it's just a case of pulling it tight which works with polyester-only-backed version, not poly-cotton. •Not sure if it's intended to be used as a waterproof material, though one's use-case may vary. PVC is basically water-proof, whereas I checked the latex-rubber side of this blackout cloth: after a few mins on the rubberised coating the tap water wets out the rubberised coating, but takes about 5 minutes to slowly start dripping through. •PVC doesn’t fray compared to blackout cloth, where sometimes blackout cloth edges can fray if you pull sellotape off the edges. Only the the 54" / 137cm wide is available: *Please* source a 70"inch (about 180cm) version, I’d buy 3metres length of that, x3qty at least, maybe a lifetime supply (x10qty). Besides for the curtains, I mainly bought the 54" / 137cm wide x 3m because I couldn’t find a 70"inch by 3m for the projector screen use. *Update 27.6.20: *now only the off-white light-grey'white' rubberised-coating is available. •The June 2020 blackout cloth I’ve purchased is the 4th of the 4 I’ve purchased from Pricebust through Amazon: This recent one is*light Grey*rubberised coating, with the same underlying backing fabric. •The previously purchased blackout cloths are*White*rubberised coating, with the same underlying backing fabric. •I’ve contacted Pricebust with a photo showing (attached to this review) the previous White vs current Light Grey rubberised-coating, *now Pricebust only stock/have available the Grey rubberised-coating.

Excellent
Excellent price, quality, thickness and so easy to sew! Originally purchased two meters to make/libe a Roman blind, I was so pleased with the quality I purchased 10meters to line a pair of ready made front door curtains. Now complete blackout and when I opened them this morning after the first cold snap you could feel the cold air between them and the external door!
