I have had this mousepad since it released and have no issues so far. I have no fraying on the edges and the speed is a nice bump up from the regular GSR if you like a slightly quicker pad.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I really like this mousepad compared to my Artisan Zero X Soft, the artisan just doesn’t feel right it’s too smooth, this one has the right amount of friction to help your precision and tracking, high recommend you at least add this mousepad to your rotation and give it a try for fps games.

I recently bought this pad because my old pad had horrible durability and performance, and let me tell you the GSR-SE Gris MOSTLY did not disappoint. The pros of this pad are it’s great to clean, good stability, and in my experience didn’t have any problems laying down flat. The price of this is also quite luring compared to a Artisan Hien or any Artisan pad. However, there are quite a few cons. I currently use a 0.213 sensitivity in Valorant w/800 dpi. The pad’s space is great for me, but if you are using lower sensitivity or have minimal mouse control, this may not be the pad for you. Another con is that it picks up crumbs incredibly easily. I clean my desk every 3 days and rarely eat, however dust and crumbs are abundant. I highly recommend using a roller and finding a schedule on cleaning your pad. Overall, the GSR-SE Gris Large is a great pad for its top tier “affordability” (I’m putting this is quotations because it depends on the perspective) balance in speed, and it’s durability. I would highly recommend.

Moisture Issues and Durability However, I did notice that the pad is prone to moisture, unlike what is advertised. When the humidity is high or my hands get sweaty, the surface becomes less smooth, affecting my gameplay. Additionally, the smoothness of the pad starts to wear off after about four months of use, which is a bit disappointing for a product designed for esports. Conclusion Despite these issues, the BenQ Zowie G-SR-SE Gris Gaming Mouse Pad offers excellent performance for the first few months. If you don't mind the gradual wear and are in a less humid environment, it’s a solid choice for any gamer.
