This product has been great! Sometimes with off brand products, you never really know what you’re going to get, but with this one it’s worth every penny! Dewalt doesn’t make a cordless glue gun, so this was a great option. I saw an installer using a cordless glue gun to hang Christmas lights on brick and stone on a social media app, and that’s exactly what I needed to do. I have a ton of DeWalt products so having plenty of batteries wasn’t an issue. For what it does, the long battery life actually surprised me. It heats up super fast, and you can even watch the temperature rise on the display. The temperature is super easy to adjust to the precise temperature. The size is also perfect. It’s not bulky and even with the battery, it’s balanced and not awkward. I’ve been using this glue gun constantly on projects and small repairs, and yes even to hang some Christmas lights and keep some cords in place. One of the best things is NO DRIPS!! I’m thinking about grabbing another one to keep out in the shop. Would definitely recommend!

Great glue gun! Heats fast, melts glue super smooth. Tip applies just the right amount and cannot beat the price! Add to the fact that you can interchange your drill battery(find right brand and power source size) and away u go! I have a Dewalt battery from my drill I use with this.

Best glue gun ever!! Sits up, sturdy, no cord to trip over. Trigger feels great in the hand.

So far so good, I’ve used this several times and the trigger pull is smooth and the unit even heats up my commercial grade glue sticks. It’s nice to have the cordless portability.

Excellent! My wife traded her plug in one for this one. She used to use her plug in one all of the time, but she said this one heats up to a better temperature and the glue sticks more.

Definitely worth the purchase. No cord to limit movement and works better than our original wired gel gun.

So far very good , ok been using it for a month or so, on and off. It’s become very weak with the trigger pull. Letting out just a small amount of on glue, my review, it’s no good and it’s not worth the money.

This fits my battery perfectly. The quality is excellent. The rubberized grips feel good as does the trigger feel. The really cool (or hot) part of this glue gun is the digital display and control of the temperature. From 100 - 200 C is what the display says. The other really cool feature is the display shows the temperature of the glue gun as it is warming up. Not only that, it appears to remember the last temperature setting even after the battery was unplugged. This heats up very quickly dispensing glue in just about a minute. To power on and off you press and hold the power button for a few seconds. I think the only weak part of the design will be those buttons as they have the thin plastic cover over a physical push button. After many uses, these always tend to break through at some point. Excellent cordless hot glue gun. Upgrade to digital and the temperature sensor is handy to see when it is up to temperature.

I had this for a year and a half and I will never look back to a corded one.. I love the digital temperature controller, I can actually glue stuff at the right temperature without melting anything and it lasts quite a long time with one charge of battery.. overall couldn't be happier with this purchase.. totally recommend

This glue gun heats up fast. Is easy to work with. The controls are simple to follow. The ONLY issue that I have (and it would be a convenience criticism only) is that you don't know when the battery is depleted unless you keep an eye on the gun's temperature display (when it's out, so is your battery) or by checking the battery charge itself. This is an inconvenience when you are wanting the glue's higher temperature properties and you don't notice that your battery has been depleted... the glue is now hardening quicker and has less bonding strength simply because the gun can no longer heat. An extremely nice feature would be an indicator LED (near the gun's heated end where it is always sighted) or subtle beep that could signify the near likelihood of battery depletion. Another convenience would be to have LED's near the tip of to aid in the illumination of the project at hand. Again, not a negative aspect of the gun simply recommendations to make this product into a 5+ rating. Otherwise, this glue gun is great with DeWalt batteries. I highly recommend its purchase.

I have a lot of tools that use the Dewalt 20V batteries, so when my wife wanted a new battery powered glue gun this was a great choice. She finds that it's well balanced in her hand, heats up quickly, and the digital readout provides helpful temperature information. Since I already had a half dozen batteries, there's always one that's charged and ready to go if she needs to change it up. Initially, the fit between the gun and the battery was too tight, but a couple minutes with a small file and some sandpaper (in the gun) took care of that, and all the batteries now slide in easily and are held securely.

Works great for about two days and then quit won’t turn on!
